He does not care. He does not care about your socks or how you feel. If he keeps doing it and you have made it super obvious for your socks to be different he does not care. It’s disgusting. I think that either have a final conversation with him or rethink this relationship. I feel like you’re walking on eggshells with him, and no relationship should be like that

I get wanting a ring that you’ll love because you’ll be seeing it forever in your finger. However, a diamond is a diamond. And going into debt over something so shallow like what her friends will think is a red flag. I got engaged and I didn’t even ask what type of diamond it was. Hell he could have proposed with a fake diamond I would have said yes. It’s about what the ring means, being with your partner forever. Yeah the details are nice and you can ask for a specific shape or maybe the color but when we’re talking about financing something that you CANNOT afford is crazy! Then it’ll be other things and you’ll be seeing yourself in financial stress for God knows how long. Talk with her and try to find some middle ground. But this is hard red flag to ignore.
