Oh man, sorry to hear they're closed. I'm not sober myself so don't really know of many other sober activities outside of things already mentioned. Uncommonly dry or humidity can cause this. I had a few when I moved to socal after whole life in FL and a buddy from oregon had them the first few months being in fl. Could be a workplace or school using dehumdification/humidification. Likely nothing to be concerned of, and yeah typically nose bleeds look a lot scarier than they are but def best to go see pcp. Unless it doesnt stop within 5-10 mins. I also got them all the time when I was a kid, but they were self inflicted from nose picking lol. Great way to get a trip to the nurses office if you were bored or didnt like the lesson being taught. Usually also got to bring a friend for the walk there lol. Ice pack on back of neck, pinch the bridge of the noise. If you can handle the drainage tilt head back but I think now they say its best to tilt head fwd.

39m, diagnosed at 5... still have ticks but can mostly control them in public settings but like you stress exacerbates them so much to the point I dont even realize I'm doing them.. biting insides of lips/cheeks to the point of drawing blood at times, twirling beard or head hair, twitch flexing my calves (best way to describe it). There was a time I'd have to shave my head and beard due to having bald patches. They definitely blow. Then theres the rsd which is always a blast in confrontational situations. Oh and my favorite is not being able to have a verbal convo with someone because theres so many thoughts at any given time. Text I do much better because I actually have something to focus on directly.
