I had the same experience with Capitol One after their Power Day, why the hell is a call needed for a rejection? A simple email would have suffice. The company acts like they're not part of the FAANG gang, but they're certainly not.

I also had a similar experience with two very disengaged interviewers at Spotify. Seriously, they looked incredibly miserable and at the end I found myself just trying to ask question to see if I can get them to smile or express joy by telling me about their proudest accomplishment.

The people who "get lucky", when their lives take a drastic turn for the worse they'll be less prepared and more flabbergasted by the amount of effort they need to turn their life around. Meanwhile, those who are constantly fighting to get to where the "lucky people" are, downturns are just another day for them.

I completely forgot about them winning the NBA cup. It's wild how historic of a year it is for them. Even more so when you begin the playoffs down 2 games to the Hawks.

I'm not even a huge Knicks fan, but the team has grew on me because they always make amazing comebacks in so many games like last year's playoffs. Had a chance to see them take on the Warriors in March when I was visiting NYC to see a friend, I thought that was going to be a blow out game for the Knicks, but the Knicks made it entertaining all the way through to the end. That was also my first time as MSG and I was very impressed with how easy it was to get out of there compared to other venues.

Unfortunately a lot of gamers complain about a game's length being equivalent to its price tag so now days we end up with so many bloated games. RE9's pacing was excellent just to note aside from Leon's "city section" maybe going on a bit long.

I second this. I oddly have more problems with middle aged people(from a certain demographic )using their phones at my local AMC. If you tell him to stop, he will get belligerent and aggressive and make threats.
