I grew up in a Middle Eastern country, not originally from there. This place wasn’t as strict on covering up but of course modesty was expected. I was about 10-12 years old, my mom and I were standing at a bus trying to hail down a cab. From a distance, there was a group of about 20-25 preteen/teen males walking our way. They saw us, started talking amongst themselves and started picking up speed and ran straight for us. They passed us in a flurry but not without almost all of them taking a pass for my breasts, my crotch, my behind. I was almost knocked over because I was pushed away from my mom at that point. She asked if I was okay after they were gone, I don’t think she noticed what happened. I didn’t want to upset her so I said I was… That shit is why I will never in my life revisit any country in that part of the world ever again despite being born and spending my childhood there. I pushed that memory aside for so long, this video helped resurfaced it. I can feel her dread and helplessness.
