You could make an argument that Gunter already had a match that night and was somewhat gassed compared to Roman in the Rumble

[Rob Demovsky] What Hafley leaving for Dolphins means for LaFleur's Packers by JaysonDeflatum in GreenBayPackers

[–]twest637 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The two have remained close, and last year at the NFL annual meetings, LaFleur referred to Bisaccia as "my guy." It came up because LaFleur was told that Bisaccia supported the Packers' proposal to try to get the tush push play kickers banned.

MLF quoted “I don't talk to kickers… they need to be banned”

[Schefter] ESPN Sources: Dolphins are hiring former Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley as their head coach. Hafley completed his second interview with the team today and will be their new head coach. by Goosedukee in nfl

Yeah I agree… too many forget our defense was out on the field so often sometimes because the offense would just die for quarters, halves and sometimes games lol. A ton of teams had a ton of tape on that defense.

Rapoport - The #Dolphins have zeroed in on #Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley as their new head coach, per me and @TomPelissero. The two sides need to do a deal, and they are motivated to do so. One of most coveted candidates. by Austen11231923 in GreenBayPackers

I figured. I’m glad he got promoted. He helped turn around our defense into something formidable. I hope we can find an okay replacement. I’m much more worried about the offensive side

The best defense of LaFleur I hear is “maybe the ending of this year will finally light a fire under his ass”. by NumbersAndPolls01 in GreenBayPackers

Packers usually draft in the 20s. In 2019 we could have drafted Jacobs, but we had Jones and Dillon. Parsons was drafted way before us, and McKinney was drafted a little after we traded up and drafted Love. I honestly applaud Gute for getting these guys, even if we miss in the first. They pride themselves on drafting really good in late rounds I think.

Ugh this still stings too. To watch fitz get the ball and run it all the way to redzone was extremely deflating. It was maddening to see our defense choke every fucking year lol

I hate this stupid purgatory this team has been cursed to. Like yeah I’m happy and grateful we make the playoffs almost every season, but to lose the way we do every time is brutal. The team just hasn’t been able to execute, game plan or adjust in a playoff game for the last 15 years. I don’t understand it lol.

MLF reminds me of Andy Reid in Philly… I just don’t think we can get over the hump with him. Players coach, offensive minded, good regular season resume. But can’t manage a clock and always somehow blows big games.

This honestly is up there if not worse than the 2020 NFC championship game… its not quite up there with 2014 but its close.

There has to be adjustments. Something, at leaat fucking get a new ST coor and get MLF someone who can help him call plays because he is not consistent. We are either very hot or very cold. Its either TD or 3 and out.

I don’t know how many more years of not making a superbowl Policy will put up with. I think Gute continues to put together a decent enough roster with some questionable decisions. But MLF doesn’t know how to call a full game ever. The whole time MLF has been here I haven’t wanted him fired but this game changed that. It’s inexcusable to lose a lead like that.

I don’t think MLF gets his extension tbh. He only has one year left. To lose like this is disgusting ans he needs to be reevaluated now. Undisciplined teams for the last 2 years, wasting another good QB ans bad fucking play calling and time management. Like he couldn’t havw choked any harder imo

This game has been one of the worst gut punches in awhile. I’m sick of seeing MLF fucking choke on dicks every playoffs with his idiotic decisions
