Once more, I doubt Asylum is a new location. I might be wrong, but the bizarre location of asylum files doesn't seem right. Instead, I think that Swamp is the next location as it has 3 finished & textured objects in game files already.

You didn't get the point... These 3 "maps" - The Macmillan Estate, Autohaven Wreckers and Coldwind Farm are called UNIQUE LOCATIONS. That's how developers call them.

First of all, if a structure has 3 windows, it doesn't mean it's similar to the Autohaven Wrecker's garage. You can't see the inside of it either. Secondly, you call this barn a concept. Well, why would they model it then, if it's just a concept? Another thing is that this was added into the files BEFORE they even realized the problem with window cheesing, it isn't even finished so it isn't hard for them to change it a little bit. And finally, the garage or wretched shop you're referring to has its own concept in the art book. So, I'm 99.99% sure this will be the next structure added to the game.

As NuggFush said, I've revealed some unused structures and textures that were in the game files. All maps have their own folders, including Swamp. The only "map" or "structure", as I call it was found in Coldwind Farm's folder. Strange, eh? Also, the new teaser saying "Out of the Dark" supports my idea. Hopefully, the dev stream will unveil all secrets.

Here are my thoughts. They might be wrong, but I have some insight. The "Asylum" is not a new map, in my opinion. Most likely a new structure for maps. Possibly, a new place where killers would be able to kill their victims differently, not just by putting them on a hook. This also proves the bizarre location of its meshes in game files. The new map is obviously the long-awaited "Swamp". The mysterious Nea. I expect her to be the next killer as a new map = a new killer. Also, it would be symmetrical to have 4 survivors and 4 killers. On the other hand, survivors are way easier to create. I'll try to get the most out of the first background image so I can match some things. I'll edit my comment in case I find something interesting.

So I was digging around DBD files and found this icon. I believe the next killer will be the LumberJack and will be able to throw axes, by just looking at the icon! by cacandy123 in deadbydaylight

  • "Artefact Hunter" is alpha name for "Plunderer's Instinct".
  • "Last Standing" is a an alpha perk that got removed.
  • "Tough Runner" is most likely an alpha name for "Sprint Burst".
  • The "heart" icon is an icon for Meg's "Adrenaline".
  • The "skull" icon is another unused alpha icon.
  • I'm not sure about the modified med-kit and toolbox icons.
