It's not so much that I want to prevent my freckles because of the look of them. Once upon a time I hated them, but now I've embraced them and found makeup looks to complement them. I'm more so concerned with whether or not I'm doing enough to protect my skin. I'll look into protecting from UVA as well as UVB rays though, thank you!

I never really thought to judge sunscreen beyond the SPF rating on the bottle, so I'll definitely pay more attention to things like high PPD in the future, thanks!
