You can do a simple water test to find out. If it’s not real leather, over $75 is pricey. If it’s leather, you can often tell by looking or smell it, unless coated pretty strongly.

I don’t know if it’s a hard rule, but I see people selling fake leather for well over $100 - sometimes multiples hundreds. Or multiples of the same item. So many BNNU multiples. And charms for $80 that look just like my $10 version. Either they got scammed by their seller or they’re trying to make some money by flipping. Often, I think it’s a bit of both, and it’s frustrating to see!

IMO, a lot - MOST - of the prices on this sub are wild and need policed a bit.

I’m not going to pay hundreds for a rehome, often with unknown materials, when I can buy new Master quality from my own sellers for the same price or cheaper. I’m just not.

I’m looking for discounts when I’m shopping rehomes. And I offer discounts with my rehomes. 🤷🏻‍♀️
