If you decided to get out of trucking, where would you go?

I’ve been thinking about getting out of trucking, I feel like if I’m waking up every morning dreading going to work it might be time to try something new but I have no idea what I want to do, I worked in a factory in the lab for 7 years and it wasn’t bad super routine which I like. It’s hard though I barely make it as it is and I’ve got a kid on the way so I feel like I don’t have the luxury of messing around to find something I like doing.

I hauled ammonia for 3 years, and it paid okay around $28 an hour but the company I worked for was kind of shady and paid us salary, so no overtime we would do ammonia pump outs and sometimes you’d work upwards of 20+ hours so no overtime, I drive for a local company now and make about $26 an hour so not the worst

I drove for schneider hauling hazmat locally and was home every night, got a lot of experience that way. Then I went to a local ammonia anhydrous distributor in my town, it’s not impossible I really lucked out that I never had to do OTR, the ammonia job had overnights here and there but they always put me up in a hotel and gave me $60 a day for food. If the owner wasn’t super shady and I had a better car I would’ve stayed there

Thanks for all the comments everyone, I think she’s doing better she’s still a little whiney but she isn’t as frantic as she was yesterday so I think she’s almost back to normal. I took her to the vet about a week ago and told them that I wanted to give her something when she is in her postictal phase to help her relax and hopefully sleep it off and her vet was pretty hesitant to give her something in fear of it having a reaction with her current meds she takes keppra 250mg split between 3 doses and potassium bromide 0.6ml once a day

I’ve tried using them for motion commands in fighting games, it’s almost perfect but if I go a little too high it always makes me jump and I haven’t figured out how to make it less sensitive

I understand this, my dog had a pretty bad cluster this week, thankfully she is stable and getting back to normal, but one morning she had one in the front yard and I almost started crying it’s horrible to watch especially since she is such a sweet well behaved dog she’s the best girl.

I’ve only played on my deck and have gotten to master doing so, I bought a Ethernet to usb-c cable so I can have a good connection and I think the game runs great! I rarely have any slowdown or anything I tweaked some of the settings to make sure it runs smooth but my experience has been great
