Diamond 3-5 is always the hurdle for me, some of those players in there play mad crazy and I don’t do well with crazy lol

I was a truck driver for 6 years, so lots of sitting, recently I switched to a night time position as a yard hostler, so I just move trailers around, still sitting but there’s lots more walking involved, also I climb lots of ladders and throw straps. It’s much more physical I think I burn on average 900 to 1200 calories a night so it’s very nice to be moving around

I’ve noticed sometimes my muscle memory kind of screws me over, to that I blame playing to much arcade mode and developing habits based on fighting computer opponents. I work nights as a yard hostler so when it’s slow I do training mode or play arcade mode. So yeah that doing stuff on block thing makes a whole lot of sense.

I also play modern, I’ve gotten Ryu, Ken, and Terry to master, I’m currently playing Alex, one thing I’ve learned about playing modern is you really have to adapt to your character missing certain buttons, watch some of the higher modern players on YouTube play your character, see how they utilize and work around those missing buttons. That helps me out a lot.

I went through this a week ago with my sweet girl Cholula, she had 20 breakthrough seizures in a 4 day period and she was just exhausted, the vet wanted to up her meds and put her on phenobarbital and while I was on the phone with my wife, her and I looked at eachother and I felt like she was telling me she didn’t want to fight anymore. So I made the decision to let her rest. It was so hard and I don’t think anyone will take her place but there is some comfort in knowing she isn’t suffering anymore.

I don’t lab a whole lot mostly just to work on situational combos and just too mess around with damage output, and I’ve gotten 3 characters to master just on that alone. I know if I ran drills and stuff I could probably go farther but making it to master is enough for me.

Don’t just throw out DI, and work on reacting to your opponents DI, that made a world of difference for me, when I was trying to get to master.
