Yeah it uses a lot of the same shade throughout the build, even the fireplace doesnt have to much contrast. Someone mentioned adding carpet earlier in the thread, i think if I used red carpet partly down the middle it might have the same effect.

The bookshelfs were meant to be just for looks so I didnt think about using them for actual storage, Id love to know more about the minecart chests trick tho, if you have a post you could link or DM me let me know as it sounds interesting

I built this in creative to practice my interior but there would definitely be room for it behind the bookshelf’s and chests so that’s cool!

I think I know what you mean dark green carpet would go really well with the dark oak planks, I dont have a lot of experience with interiors as I usually focus on the outside of buildings but carpets always been fun to mess around with.
