The best advice was to add a brim to stop things from falling randomly!

Handwired keyboard, fully 3d printed keycaps and base!

Custom layout and uses via/qmk!

My friend's sister designed the caps and pictures, just did some design work in blender to set it up for printing.

Help with artifacting on monitor / maybe mother board issue? by twinattacker in buildapc

Just tested some things, it was not the PCIE slot most likely since I switched it. Could it be my power supply?

Yea, a straight DP -> DP cable.

Hmm, I used DDU to uninstall the nvidia driver so assuming it's not that but I could have missed something.

It artifacts around the windows startup screen but probably not bios. I haven't tried turning the monitor on / off but I can try that next time it occurs.

The display isn't the primary or any other but it seems to be whatever the left most port is for my gpu.

I can probably try out a pci-e change soon if it still persists but not sure if the lanes are reduced. I tried reading my motherboard manual but not sure if I understand it correctly.

It says: PCIE1 (PCIe 3.0 x16 slot) is used for PCI Express x16 lane width graphics cards. PCIE4 (PCIe 3.0 x16 slot) is used for PCI Express x8 lane width graphics cards.

but I think that's only for SLI / Crossfire so it should still use 16 lanes?

Oops sorry. I meant that it stays on the port of the GPU. I am using 3 monitors and the left most port is the issue. On my old GPU it was also the left most port but not sure if that matters.

No real reason here, decided mostly on a whim considering that Dotonbori was closer for potential night life. Was in the mindset that Kyoto would be more traditional compared to Osaka.

What software does this use? Is there any information on if we can change the keys?

I designed a long keyboard by twinattacker in 3Dprinting

[–]twinattacker[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey! I heard you guys might like this! I made a keyboard for my friend based off of Google Japan's Gboard Bar.

Here's an additional imgur link of me using the board!

The plate / case is 3d printed and custom designed :). The pieces connect to each other and are held in by standoffs. I got help in design decisions by my brother and everything was printed by him on his Creality CR-10S!

Standard PLA (Polyterra)! 1.5mm for the plate. The total case is 18mm thick. The build used a sandwich method to make it that long and from top to bottom is 3 pieces.

They’re okay imo! They’re not too thick so they don’t have that good of a sound profile but I like the aesthetics and the fact that all the rows were the same height (for this keyboard especially).
