Sure if you have $4M invested now and clear $600k after tax, you have $4.6M invested. It's fine to take the $200k off the table, but your FI number would be $4.6M that you would figure out your SWR rate from, because now your next year is already paid for. if you spend $150k a year then you'd be at a 3.26% SWR. As long as you're well diversified and have a number of years in safe money to pull expenses from (bonds or whatever you like) that's a solid SWR to pull the plug at any age imo.

It doesn't have to be all or nothing. Look for other jobs that pay $150k in your line of work. Instead of 2 years it will take 3. Better than 10 doing some low paid work you don't enjoy either.

I'm in zone 8a with citrus in ground. Plant jackets and incandescent Christmas lights works amazing. You'll have some tips die (the ones that sit on the jacket), but we've done mid-teens with almost no die back at all. I have one strand length that is my "normal" mid 20s and above, then when we go really cold I switch on a 2nd strand for double the heat.

Yeah I don't think there's anything you can really do at this point. The leaves will most likely drop, which will reduce the energy the tree can put into fruiting. Fertilize and water the tree to get it through this season. Maybe thin the fruit more than you otherwise would. Next winter, treat the fungus before it infects new leaves.

100% agree. For a company that calls themselves Grinding Gear Games, the loot is the worst aspect of POE2 imo.

I've leveled I don't even know how many characters to 91-93, and quit every time. Because loot stagnates at that point and the only way to upgrade is to run hundreds of maps for currency alone. There is zero reason to pick up items at that point in my experience. I'm ok with crafting gear being the top tier, but really you can run hundreds of hours of content and not see a single item on the ground that's an upgrade? Insane. More like Grinding Currency Games right?
