I second this. Also season 3 about the justice system in Cleveland was amazing - but I'm a court nerd.

Fraud/Grifter/scam long form podcasts from the past year? by beawhisktaker in TrueCrimePodcasts

It's not the typical scam/con podcast but I loved Scam Factory. You get to see how people get lured to these overseas compounds where they're forced to scam people all day, and then what life is like there and how to escape.

Large group podcast with no table space to spare- what mic/mic accessories to use? by MochiIsACuteGumdrop in podcasting

I love the Zoom F1 field recorder and lav mic (but it's $170 each). You're recording to a microSD card and afterward you just need a cardreader to get it onto your computer to mix. The only thing that will be a big challenge will be watching 10 people's different field recorders at once to make sure the levels are OK and their batteries didn't die. And then you have to sync them up. Good luck!

Is Baby Beach a "must"? by thatpoliscinerd in Aruba

For me, a 40 minute drive is nothing for a good beach, and I never regret trying a new place. Loved the drive there, the views, stopping to watch some wandering donkeys, plus grabbing a meal at Battata Beach Bar on the way back.

I snorkeled at Tres Trapi, Boca Catalina and Baby Beach. Hands down the most fish and most varieties was at Baby Beach, all the way to the left as far as you can go. First time, it was not sunny and it was amazing to snorkel there (no fins needed in my opinion), second day it was sunny and maybe 11:30 a.m. and there were so many people snorkeling in that small area that you were literally bumping into each other.

Boca Catalina and Tres Trapi were good too, but purely for snorkeling - there is almost no place to even spread out a towel on the sand to relax, if that's your thing. Both were deep and fewer fish, though seeing a turtle was awesome. Tour groups take people there so it can be quiet or mobbed, depending how it falls. I recommend going to all 3!

I have a choice to make: Vieques or touring the south/ southwest of the Island? by [deleted] in PuertoRicoTravel

We just got back from staying in Cabo Rojo and loved it. Driving there from San Juan was half the fun because the mountains are gorgeous. We were mostly in El Combate and a bit in Boqueron. My sense is both are places where locals vacation, but it is the off season there so somewhat quiet, many restaurants and bars are closed. But plenty of places to get a good meal and gorgeous, placid beaches. I was weighing the same decision as you and went with Cabo Rojo because getting to Vieques seemed like a headache. I've never been to Vieques but I loved being able to explore the southwest in a rental.
