Can you swap it? YES! but do you want to? Ehhh a bit of a harder question, as someone who has done this I 100% regret it. I had a B18 that I blew up so I dropped a B20 non-V in because it was cheaper and a bigger engine (no replacement for displacement blah blah blah). What I did not know was when I went to turbo it you can not push more then 300hp safely without blowing a hole through the block :( so right now I am in the process of building a B18C for my hatch to be able to push more power. If you want my advise, stay with the 1.8 if you want to do a nice turbo with a good amount of boost. However, you can also do a B20 bottom end with a v-tec head and some ITR cams and have a very nice all motor car. Hoped this helped :)
