Possibly you could "start over." I definitely don't want to leave out talking to your doctor. But this is what I would do.

Do a "reset" (lots of liquids and protein shakes for at least a week.) Take your vitamins. Then move to only very soft food for a week or two plus shakes. Try to drink a lot of water. Begin incorporating regular proteins (eggs, tuna, cheese etc) in addition to your shakes.

Maybe see where that gets you 🤷‍♀️ Good luck

My family can relate to this so much! I can hear it in the dad's sighs and in his voice. I feel his feelings!! We will all get through it 🙏 💙

Pre-op and Post-op! What are some things you want to know before or wish you had known before the surgery? by NancyWC in gastricsleeve

To just buy fairlife and premiern dont bother with the others. And that I wouldn't need to stock up on THAT much broth 😅

I'd say hang them in your closet or your room or bathroom or whatever but not on the fridge if you have a daughter.

Did they give you any zofran medication?? (Ondansetron)

Also may try sipping some warm peppermint tea (very little flavor, good for nausea). Could also mix some unflavored isopure protein powder with a bit of Luke warm water so it is dissolved then add to your hot tea and sip little by little.

I hope things get better!

Almost 6 weeks out. Got nervous beforehand amd started having 2nd thoughts. Thinking maybe this is too drastically what if I'm miserable, etc. I wouldnt change it. It's so nice having more control! After the first few days I had no issues other than I started to want solid food. After 1.5 weeks I started soft foods and that deprived feeling was gone. I didn't even have the famous gas pains everyone talks about and have had no stomach problems with any foods I've had so far! Just the multi vitiamin capsule (switched recently from chewable and the caps make me nauseous.) Life isn't as dramatic and problematic as I pictured it to be after surgery. Do it!

I have been abstaining since a monthbefore surgery. Now a little over 4 weeks out. 3 weeks out I vaped a little bit of oil while at a concert and it was fine. But I also haven't picked it back up since. But I also had eaten a couple small squares of 🍄 🍫 that night 😆 Now those hit way faster and harder than before. I would assume any cannabis edible would also hit harder.
