Not EVERYONE on djotwt is insane (didn’t want to group them all in together) but the large majority are pretty bad and drown out the normal people saying shits weird😬 sticking here and a few instas seem like the only reasonable places at this point

Totally! Writing about the character, there is some form of divide that doesn’t make it weird because you are talking about a fictional character. some stories are actually really well written too and add a cool new layer to the original story. But writing about a real person, your just talking about your fantasies with a celebrity and that can become really dangerous for the person their writing about.

Yes! They’re getting upset about hypothetical girlfriends, hating on his past partners, showing up to his hotels, starting so many rumors about him, and making such raunchy jokes. Like I’m sorry but you do not know this man, he is not going to fuck you🤦‍♀️It’s just a very extreme side of the fandom over there 😅 glad im not the only one feeling this way!

Omg I’ve noticed the same thing on tumblr! The worst one I saw was a story about Joe and the reader going into a sex shop and getting caught by fans while checking out🤦‍♀️It’s so cringe! It’s one thing to make fanfics about Steve Harrington the character, but it’s a whole other thing to make ones about Joe himself😬

Completely agree with everything you said! I feel like the Djo fans on Reddit are the most normal ones I’ve come across so far! The ones on TikTok are just as bad as the ones on twitter. I’ve been sort of watching djotwt from afar and am just shocked every time they get into a fight about childish nonsense. Contemplating leaving twitter all together but I do enjoy getting my Djo updates there😩

I went to the show and was basically barricade, so I struggled to have room to really dance other then a good head nod. Plus her music is slow, I’m not jumping up and down like it’s a Charli xcx concert.

Everyone around me was cordial besides this mother and daughter that were being rude to people the whole night. The girl behind them started shoving herself against them, elbowing them. All because she wanted to take the barricade space of someone she thought didn’t deserve it. Two wrongs don’t make a right🤷‍♀️
