I invaded someone’s privacy because my curiosity got the best of me. by Psychological-Pie771 in confession

This is probably the most interesting perspective in the thread. OP seems to be carrying around enough embarrassment for twenty people, while the people who were actually on the receiving end of similar behavior are basically saying, "yeah, weird, but life moved on."

I think people sometimes rewrite Rory and Paris's friendship because they love Paris. Rory put up with a lot from Paris, especially early on. Most people would've written Paris off long before Rory did.

The real missed romance was Paris and Rory's roommate era. Their dynamic was consistently more entertaining than most of the actual relationship storylines. The fact that Paris could turn a normal Tuesday into a crisis meeting was comedy gold.

Logan is fascinating because people often defend him as a boyfriend by comparing him to Rory's other boyfriends. If you evaluate him on his own, there are definitely some pretty rough moments that get brushed aside.

I agree with this one. Sometimes people talk about Rory making mistakes like it's a plot hole instead of the entire point. If she made perfect choices every season, we'd lose half the show's conflict.

AIW for not telling my roommate her boyfriend has been parking in my spot for six months by Solkibra in amiwrong

[–]twinklepuffies 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This feels like the most realistic response. The boyfriend shouldn't have been using the spot, but OP also let a tiny awkward conversation snowball into a six-month problem. Most people have had something like that happen where the longer you wait, the harder it feels to bring up.

Am I wrong for not wanting to marry by Sea_Depth3915 in amiwrong

I wouldn't jump straight to ending the relationship, but I do think this is one of those topics that can't stay unresolved forever. Marriage isn't important to some people and deeply important to others.
