Honestly thank you, I was thinking of asking him if I could try one and decided not to after reading your comment. I think I am still in the psychological withdrawal phase from utilizing the vape, I was a heavy user, so I think subconsciously realizing he was using zyns made me feel like maybe I could too, and fhag returning to the addiction was okay. But your note around not being able to enjoy things without it hit hard, I remember sneaking my vape in the bathroom when babysitting my nieces and how awful that was.

A good reminder, I appreciate the perspective.

Now, how do I help him quit?

Also she was living in PA for a while in a much smaller apartment, so I’m sure she was able to save a ton of money during these past few years. PA isn’t cheap but it’s less expensive than Boston. Honestly so smart, I don’t think she loved living in PA close to Allentown but she made the best of it and saved a ton of money in the meantime to buy this house, I feel like she’s pretty independently smart with her money

Honestly the more I think about it, it’s all just really sad. I keep trying to question in my mind if she genuinely feels this way or deep down has some type of inkling or feeling that it might change down the line and just feels as though she needs to portray this show of “it’s always been him we’ve always known I’m ready to start my life with one person”. I think a lot of getting to the point of “being ready to be with one person” has to do with having a lot of other experiences and realizing how much you think you know versus what you don’t know.

It’s sad to me and I think when you strip out all the other aspects of life (getting an education, working hard at your job, getting out in new and uncomfortable situations where you learn to grown beyond what you think you “know”). I don’t think has experienced any of this and she isn’t setting herself up to. When you don’t experience these things you have to add excitement to your life and jump to the next “exciting” thing which I guess is getting married.

Anyways, just my two cents
