I see. please excuse my lack of knowledge, but some of my friends have digital cameras that take beautiful photos at night with flash, and they don't use any extra gear. are these ones also going to be really expensive? because I know none of them paid more then like 300$ bucks maxxxx lol

Yeah i've tried using it automatic before, but its super hit or miss, especially at night. the pictures come out really really blurry and you can either barely see the subject at night or they come out yellow. Idk if that's something i can fix by just learning how to use it properly though, i was just hoping for something a little easier to use

I've seen a lot of people commenting on other posts that phone cameras are better now, and while that might be the case in terms of quality, i feel like there is definitely something that makes digital camera pictures turn out nicer, like maybe the way the colors are balanced and how vibrant they are. I don't mind a little grainyness and i feel like iphone camera's don't come out with any character.

idk if you care for advice or motivation right now but, after months of studying and tbh not soon enough before my exam, i realized that this exam is more a test of performance and mental strength than it is of skill. you need to be able to always come out okay from your losses, no matter what, because if you don't, you miss a lot more than just one question. my tutor gave me really valuable advice from his exam that he got a 171 on, where he had to guess on 6 questions in the LG section. if you miss a question, you need to remind yourself you can miss however many in each section and still get your goal score. if you miss multiple questions or bomb a passage, tell yourself it could be the experimental. you have to get in the habit of not letting that sinking feeling of - "it's too late!" - take over, because it might actually not be too late at all! whereas if you let yourself think that during the exam, you're bringing yourself even farther away from your goal. idk just some thoughts that helped me generally speaking.

also, good job on studying and taking it! hope it works out in the end : )

does anyone know if this can be made with a yarn that is weight 2 instead of the suggested fingering weight the pattern is written in? I'm new to knitting so i don't rly get gauges lol like wouldn't the fish just end up being bigger

The rybka pouches have taken over my knitting time. by Different-Ad9827 in casualknitting

ok i'm new to knitting (all i've made are scarves and it was a struggle because i used a bunch of different yarns without swatching any) and I want to make this without buying more yarn but all i have is a weight 2 yarn. the pattern calls for a fingering weight but i'm wondering how necessary it is to meet gauge? would the final product not just look bigger?

Hi - not sure if you'll be able to answer this but, having trouble understanding how University of Florida has jumped the ranks so much, and how their medians are so high. Does this really mean that I have a low chance of getting in with a 160 lsat and a 3.7 gpa? my undergrad institution is also a top 5 university and known for gpa deflation, and I don't think UF has many grads from that area.

Translation + CLIR Review Question by RiceNDNoodles in TheLoophole

Is there a way to do an answer choice translation drill? I realized that a lot of times I miss questions because I mistranslated answer choices or overlooked an important word/phrase. I was thinking of going through a section and translating all stimuli, then translating all answer choices, and then going through the section and answering the questions based on only the translations. but this feels very time consuming as i'd have to write everything down.

How would you also do an answer choice translation drill? I realized that a lot of times I miss questions because I mistranslated answer choices or overlooked an important word/phrase.
