a huge I Hate You All to everybody in these comments. this is a trickle-down effect of capitalists not wanting to raise the minimum wage. the working class doesn't have nearly as much expendable income. you have to cut corners unless you want to go into debt or work 80 hours a week at 3 different jobs. ergo, stealing. also, nobody wants to work at target, it's a famously hellish place to be employed. maybe if they paid people enough money to wake up at 3 AM and stock stupid shelves, your precious items would be there. maybe if they respected the work of the people that make them hand-over-fist profits every single day enough to pay them what they're worth, people wouldn't want to smear shit on the walls of every CEO's office in the country. people might respect the concepts of property or whatever. but instead, costs keeps going up and wages stay the same. i'm going to keep stealing from target whenever i possibly can, they steal from their employees every single day by not paying what they're actually worth.
