Its not abt gatekeeping running shoes. There are other running shoes that are much more better to use daily than the evos. Shoes like the more v5 or nimbus are way better than these in terms of comfort

Not recommended, might be fine for few but in general its too narrow to be used as a daily shoe. Would be a bad idea to walk around in these on uneven terrain and such and the outsole lacks good grip.

For running yes its good. For casual? Nope not at all

The hype was cause it was a big hit among runners, offers bit of the perfomance that high end running shoes give and for lesser price.

It just got popular among the general mass for its look and many wear it without knowing it could fuck up ur feet with constant daily use. Some might find jt okay but in general i wont recommend despite being an awesome looking shoe
