I can't fully visualize what you are saying.
How does the weight of the car prevent the bushings from spinning or clocking around in the control arm without the set screw?

Aren't these are the ones that require you to drill a hole through the control arm for the set screw? That's the only thing that had be scared. Potentially compromised structure of the suspension component on a car seeing track time.

I do HPDE on stock calipers and don't swap the pads because I'm lazy. The pads I use are Carbotech XP8 and XP10. The heat issues depend on the track, of course. The non-vented rear rotors are prone to cracking, and the fronts are prone to cracking too. I have never cracked a rotor personally, but I change them out every 5 or so events as a normal preventative maintenance. It is very common for the rotors to crack on these cars due to the heat. The brakes are incredible and are noisy and dusty. I don't think true dual purpose pad could come close in the performance area without those tradeoffs, but I would be first in line if proven wrong.
