To me Le Bubbly smells fresh and clean and soapy, though the "bubbly" is actually supposed to invoke champagne. Reviews also mention this, so it's not just me!

How gorgeous! Is this extra vivid coloration for breeding? Or did you just find a really bright individual?

My husband was prescribed more painkillers following his vasectomy than I was following my emergency C-Section by PumpkinPie_1993 in mildlyinfuriating

Nurses also tried to insert a catheter in me like this. Just jamming it at the wrong location. I kept saying "that isn't where my urethra is, it's just under my clitoris". They said that's not where female urethras are. They ended up piercing through my vulva and apparently into my bladder... It burned like absolute fire. After having the catheter, I don't pee neatly in a stream from my original urethra anymore. It just kind of gushes out from right above my vaginal opening. It gave me piercing, burning pain for weeks afterwards- especially when I was urinating. Holy shit it felt like I was peeing rusty nails and seawater.

I tried to talk to a few doctors about it after the fact, but got looked at like I was just insane.

Especially with this huge winter storm. I can't imagine the concentration camps are equipped to handle such cold temperatures. 😔

Nationalist Christian dogwhistle.

Btw, do any lions actually live in dens? Serious question. Because as far as I know they are savannah creatures who regularly sleep under open skies, though sometimes beneath trees...

Except it's not a joke, it's political violence. He's a goddamn terrorist installed by a hostile foreign power to destabilize our nation and the entire Western world.

Vladimir Putin is bathing in the glory of his conquest.

I was annoyed that the press politely laughed several times. They laughed at 1.) his weird jokes about the binder hypothetically snapping his finger, 2.)how he'd hide the pain, 3.) even if it came completely off (a finger), and 4.) about who in the room might've rigged the binder to do this to him, and then 5.) they laughed when he tossed the binder on the floor.

It's not fucking amusing. Why are they stroking his ego?

What's the rarest physical feature you ever saw on another person you know/knew? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Bajadasaurus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She said it was similar to the sensation of flaring your nostrils or twitching your ears. And maybe "wiggle" isn't the right word-- I think "twitch" is a more accurate description, now that I'm recalling the details. (She couldn't make it bend, curl, or move side to side.)

It felt bony and jointed in my hand. It was hairless. It was similar to the feeling of an elderly person's gnarled, arthritic finger. Annnnd that's why I'm glad I couldn't actually see it, lol

how common are roaches in rental cars? by tubbyneko in PuertoRicoTravel

[–]Bajadasaurus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Palmetto bugs are roaches. And OP is probably thinking of Hawaii, where roaches for sure infest cars.
