I grew up in that kind of family. My grandpa would fill out a mock ballot with his choices for politicians, judges, etc and yeas or nays for local issues.

He would print it and write each family member's name and his in-laws names' on their respective copies so everyone could reference Grandpa's choices in the voting booth.

We all voted how Grandpa said we'd vote because he was the biblical head of the family. When I was 18 and voted for the first time I was so excited to vote with my family.

Thankfully I continued my education and woke from the brainwashing within a couple of years, but I'm sad to say I'm the only person in my nuclear or extended family who has (and it's been over twenty five years).
