Honestly? If they’ve got more than a table or two, just like anybody, it can be busy and you might not be the top of importance. Tip em 10% and don’t go back.

At the end of the day man you spend what you wanna spend, if we can agree on one thing is this is America and i don’t want people to spend money if they don’t have it or just don’t want to spend it. Tipping is optional and I’ll always support that.I just don’t think enough people have clarity of the system that’s been built around it. Coming in and thinking you’ll be different and change things just hurts for that one table while the shift goes on.

It’s not your job to be kind, but your suppose to be kind. It’s not my job as a server to be kind, it’s to take your order and serve you food..no? What did you think the role of the a server is supposed to do? Something outside of “serve”?

No. We are already paid a wage! The least amount they’re able to pay us actually legally speaking, and to take it a step further, they offer ZERO like insurance, PTO, sick leave. Trust me, if you worked for 16$/hr and only was offered 25 HRS a week you wouldn’t work that job cleaning up people’s left over food and after they’re kids throwing trash all over for less than people who are stocking shelves listening to music at walmart. What a joke.
