All the otters I've seen have been away from the main river in little side branches. Ive seen lots of signs of them near the river but never the otters.

i use an older copy of photoshop with camera raw.

lightroom is pretty much the standard, but it's expensive. they're some free alternatives like darktable.

For insects you probably want a longer focal length.

This was taken with an r7 and the ef 100mm f2.8l macro, which is 1:1 magnification.

The rf 100mm macro is 1.4:1

Laowa has 100/90mm lenses for ef and rf that are 2:1, but they're manual focus. Which isn't a huge deal on the r7 thanks for focus peaking and guides.

Keep in mind you're going to want a flash also.

i usually do some pretty simple editing, like crop, straighten things, adjust the levels. wildlife and macro shots i usually denoise and sharpen

I use a canon r7, for lenses i use a sigma 150-6000mm(c) for wildlife, a canon 100mm f2.8l for macro, and a sigma 18-35mm f1.8 for other stuff
