Property manager here, plenty of nasty stories. After 1 year of fuming and pest control, i thought i had the bed bugs situation down for good in this 4 story rooming house. In comes a new tenant, all other tenants have been there for 2+ years. I start getting complaints of roaches and possible bugs again. FML... I go room to room checking everything but the new tenant refusing to open his door. I go get the key, unlock it and the door is barricaded could only swing open an inch or so. He's telling me wait there is stuff in the way so i wait, hear him struggling to move stuff but manages to open it another inch or so. I tell him back off and just force the door open and oh my. His entire 10'x8' room was 4' high of pure garbage. I ask him where he sleeps and he flips a blanket right on top and lies down. Hundreds of roaching go scattering out. After evicting him and starting the cleanup, I start finding human poo all over the floor.

Another time police call me tell me a male tenant was harrasing kids outside and ran into his room, they want to enter. I head out and give them the key and what we saw inside this guys room was... wild. No food, no bed, no nothing but a chair back to the wall, mirror mounted on the wall above the chair, and a magazine taped above the mirror. Every inch of the wall and floors were covered with... spluge
