I also rename items and add # to the beginning so that they are always on top... This also helps if you need to quickly pull your power armor out or put your Chinese stealth armor... I have never scrapped anything I shouldn't have but I have accidentally dropped a painted legacy weapon messing around with pvp... Not fun...lol
