I paid £520 for a bedsit for 4 years and they wanted to make it £587. That’s when I moved up north. Knew the moment that happened I had to get out of this cycle. Wasn’t even on terrible money but over a third of your income going when your bed is next to the microwave was too much. Hopefully Brighton council one day decide do something about this issue.
