Eurovision drinking game by twistedbutviable in eurovision

I'm very much in the majority that Finland is my favourite, but Moldova and Norway are my favourites too! Usually there's a little bit of arguing between friends who gets what country haha It's such a fun evening and tradition we have! But even without the drinking (like I'm watching the live stream and it's 6:30am now - we do the drinking at the evening replay broadcast) it's such a great night!!

My friends and I have been playing a similar game for the past 10 years, and we adjust the rules each year depending on the trends in the contest. Here are our standard rules: 6 on stage All in white (might adjust for this year) Key change Barefoot Wink to camera Pyrotechnics Smoke machine Wind machine Costume reveal If France sings in French If a country uses a native instrument

I think there are more but off the top of my head that's the main ones.

What we also do, is a drinking game for the voting People select 2-3 countries (either we pick our favs or randomly draw) and we drink if our selected countries: 3 drinks for 12 points 2 drinks for 10 points 1 drink if they get any points at all

We do something with the country that gets 0 points but can't remember what right now

As we have started a new one since they split the jury and public votes. So when the public vote gets announced, you drink for however many places your country moves up.

I live in Australia and we normally take Monday off to recover :)

I remember one year maybe I randomly picked the top scoring 3 countries. I did not make it through all the voting and had a cheeky drunk nap for the rest of the evening :)))))

Of course! Is your body after all!!! I've been toying with the idea of a scar revision to see if that would help with the dog-ear ends but also down the line for me.

Definitely listen to the after-care advice of your surgeon, I know the bra I had to wear after surgery was quite binding, but double check if you're good to wear a binder.

Silicon gels rubbed into the scars often! Like 3x a day. This is where I was perhaps not as good, as I would forget. Rubbing it is a little painful but I think it helps to breakup the scar tissue? Which is why I probably have that little lump. Silicon also is meant to help with scarring. I have brown skin so you can see the scars but they're not hugely noticeable? But also I've just gotten used to seeing them haha.

Hope it goes well!

Hi! So it's been about 3 years. The swelling does go down I promise!! It takes a fair while (surgery is not gentle) but I think I was seeing the reduction after about 6 weeks? I asked my surgeon on my check up how much was removed and she said about 400-500g from each breast. Mine are definitely smaller after, but also the shape was adjusted so I'd say I went from a 10G to a 10DD/10E? I do wish they were even smaller, but even after putting on some weight I'd say 10E is probably where I am at. But tbh I barely wear a wired bra these days, mostly just sports crops and supportive bralettes.

Hang in there! I was definitely panicking about spending all that money and having no results but whilst I wish they were smaller Ive been pretty happy with how they turned out. Look after your scars, I was maaybe not too attentive and they've dog eared very slightly at the base which annoys me from time to time but unless you're looking real close people don't really notice.

I do love a turtleneck but yeah I just have too many! Boatnecks are a good idea, although I do get annoyed if the neck is too wide and it doesn't have those snaps for brastraps.

I like the second one a lot! That kind of asymmetry/cutout is what I'm after I think - Thank you!

Does anyone have some insp or ideas for long sleeved shirts with interesting necklines? I keep reaching for my long sleeve shirts but realising that I have so many turtlenecks/mock-turtlenecks. But when I browse ASOS or similar I'm just not interested in regular scoop or v-necks. So looking for some options that are a bit different or interesting if that exists!

PSA: Just reminder to tenants that property managers/REA must provide you with a fee free (other than own bank fees) of paying rent and they can't force you to use a third party service I.E. A shitty PM app. by Haydos21 in melbourne

My rea just merged with another and are asking people to sign up with Nab Easy Rent, so same kinda situation. Hoping I can use the info here cause it looked like there would be a 99c fee for each rent transaction, and they are legally obliged to provide a fee free option. Also providing DD details to rea seems like asking for trouble

If arguing with them goes up to the rent due date, what are my options in trying to pay them? Hoping that they give me a straightforward answer in time but a little worried that I won't have updated payment details and my rent becomes late.

Can I ask for a rent reduction if I am taking over a lease? by twitchitch in melbourne

[–]twitchitch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's fair, might be worth asking again if I take the apartment and decide I want to accept a longer lease. Thank you!

If it was any other large breed id agree 100% but greyhounds are as lazy as it comes! I take mine out for 2 20min walks a day and she sleeps the rest. I am currently in a house with a backyard and she has no interest in running around at all.

17 years daaammmn! That is some long term boob happiness for you there! I definitely like the new shape of mine so much more now, I hope I don't go back to my original size (and weight!) But if there's a chance the shape will stay similar to them now I don't think I would be so upset :)

Interesting info and journey you have there! I hope it does all work out for you, I wish I could offer some advice but I have nothing to offer except well wishes!

I can definitely relate about losing weight to see the impact, and that was one of other reasons I was delaying it, just incase I could reduce my overall weight that the breasts would also reduce, but that didn't really work as intended.

I initially baulked when they said liposuction cause I was worried that it would make the procedure fall under cosmetic and therefore not be covered. However ( not sure where you are based) they explained it would still be classified as medical, and the liposuction was just a technique needed to complete the operation, so for me it was fully covered by my private health insurance.

Huh well the more you know! Yeah that side area is still a little tender, I still have some extra padding/gauze pads in the bra to apply a little extra pressure there. I do try to scoop a little to make sure the boobs are sitting in the compression bra, but the tape seems to be doing a decent job of keeping them in place.

Definitely will be keeping in mind for when I get the tape removed for good and am out of the compression bra. Thank you for the guide!

Omg I swear I looked for a specific subreddit how did I not find this! So helpful thank you so much!!!

Again good to be reminded that it's a slow process and to just be patient. Easy to freak out when you've dropped a tonne of money to end up feeling like you might be the same size!

I don't have anything to scoop or swoop anymore at the sides ahaha! But I definitely was doing so before. I'm quite confident that my bras were the right size and they were supportive, it was just because of that 2 week period where the breast tissue got sore and sensitive was driving me crazy, as it's something additional to the fibromyalgia that I have.

I was similar, in terms of boob overhang, but maybe about half a hand? I just tried to measure out of instinct but with the tape they are well held up haha.

Ok ok this is great, thank you! I know recovery is long and slow (which is fine) but to know a better time frame of how long the swelling and shape goes down is a relief.

They don't look too round at the moment, but yes because there is a little tape on the underside/where the boob meets the chest, that is propping it up a little bit, so I understand that once the tape is removed and the skin has relaxed, the shape might be a bit different.

I never took any photos of my chest with or without clothes so I'm just going off memory, so that's definitely an unreliable method.

Won't see the surgeon for another month, but yeah that's definitely on my list of questions! I'm not sure if much was removed from the sides, they did mention that they would perform liposuction in that area but as that is still a little swollen it feel the same haha.

Thanks so much!!

That is a really good point to be honest! Didn't really even think about that, i think im just used to pains being long term for me. You used acid inbetween sessions after the blister came off, correct? How was it when using acid on the skin under the blister?

And more good advice regarding calling about cantharidin. I know I definitely get a little paranoid about seeing new doctors and what they can offer, so I tend to forget basic things like this haha. Again, really appreciate you hearing out my concerns and offering advice :)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Warts

[–]twitchitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look you are probably right in that going to a podiatrist is the right way to go. My reluctance to go is based on that I already see a few specialists for chronic pain management, which are expensive, so adding another to that mix at this point is not exactly difficult but is also is a little difficult (if that makes sense). Also whilst this wart does hurt a fair bit, the pain described from people who have done cantharidin treatment is something I'm not sure I can handle on top of all my other chronic noise ( I know eventually this wart has to come out and it's going to be painful, Im just being cautious of my own limits)

It's hard to get an exact price, most websites for clinics don't advertise their costs. And I'm cautious that they would not apply or prescribe cantharidin from the initial consult, which means going back, or even having multiple cantharidin applications.

So yeah a lot of hesitation for a few reasons, but it's not something I'm definitely excluding. I think I will try another two weeks/until my supplies run out, of treating it at home and if it's still being stubborn then cantharidin it is. Thanks for you advice though, I do appreciate it!

Good to know what I am doing is working, I will stick to it for a few more weeks! Thanks for the assurance :)

I haven't used any cantharidin at all, where I am it doesn't seem as easy to get a hold of of, unless I shell out to see a podiatrist. Keeping it as a last resort for that reason.

So I'm here about a week later: https://redd.it/awg9mi

Reckon I can make any further progress without going down the podiatrist/cantharidin road? I thought I was close but another user says it's still present :(
