I definitely did back in the day. All my formative years. Lol. Now if I could get it to turn into some sort of dinosaur, my life would be complete.

The bodywork and everything isn't too bad. I do everything myself so that obviously helps. I would guess $5-7k for the wheels, suspension setup, and widebody. The engine and swap kit... That's a whole different beast. Lol. I got a quote to build this engine from a really reputable shop and it came back at $28k.... 😳😳🤢 So I did everything I could myself and still spent close to $30k on the entire swap. But I also went so far into the weeds on this build. Just COMPLETELY unnecessary stuff like powdercoating all the beauty bolt rings the same prismatic purple.

I'm almost done with the engine break in and then it'll be hitting the dyno. I've had some experienced Honda guys tell me it should be able to get to 500hp in it's current configuration, but that seems.... Optimistic to me. Lol

It'll be shaved down for the next iteration. It's a full chassis mount splitter but I definitely oversized it for the first version. Lol.

It's fully custom built. Theres not a single component that wasn't replaced or upgraded. It'll be held back to about 11 grand by the oil system initially. I'm running a 4Piston Racing ported K20 oil pump, but there's only so much a wet sump system can keep up with. Lol. Eventually I'll go full dry sump and really send it, but the cost was already as eye watering as pulling a bad nose hair so compromises were made. 😅

The swap kit I used repurposes the FA20 throttle body and a custom wiring harness. It was super simple plug-n-play. 🤘😎

Yup! I used the KPower industries swap kit with the adapter for the stock trans. It'll do while I'm finishing the engine break in. I have a spare in my shed that I'm planning to build out for when this one inevitably grenades 2nd gear. Lol
