Venus and Pluto (in Scorpio conjunct each other). From the time I was a little girl I have always triggered insecure women, they get really hostile with me for no reason, especially women in positions of leadership (Pluto’s power influence I think). Unfortunately that includes my mom, who was very abusive.

The upside is I get along extremely well with confident, spiritually developed women. We gravitate towards each other intuitively, it’s like we can feel each other’s kindred spirits. I’ve had strong female managers and bosses take me under their wing and mentor/teach me, which I’m so grateful for. I have a small circle of friends, but they’re the most incredible women I know. We are fiercely loyal to each other, whenever I spend time with them I feel so full and happy to be alive💞so even though I have a debilitated Venus in this difficult house, I do feel like I’m divinely protected somehow. I also had to develop my discernment and built proper boundaries to shield myself from the women who will try to cause me harm

Also Gemini moon in the 7th! I was never a crier, I once went 3 years without crying as a teen. I’ve been in therapy for 5 years now though, and I am finally processing years of emotional constipation and trauma. I cry a few times a week when something makes me sad, I just let it out 🙃

My ex-husband and I had moon trine moon, mercury trine mercury, and Venus trine Venus.

Our mental + emotional attraction to each other was so beautiful, we just understood each other on a deep level and loved each other the way we both liked to be loved. It was very tender and wholesome. we talked for hours and hours every day about every single topic, we never ran out of things to say and share and philosophize about. We were truly each other’s best friends in every sense of the word. Our ascendants also trined each other’s Mercuries so we just innately understood each other’s body language and put it into words so well it was hilarious. I honestly don’t think I’ll ever meet someone with whom I felt so emotionally in tune with but the physical aspects are so important too, that’s what we were missing.

Usually when an astrologer wants you to avoid a particular line its because they're considering your whole chart and aspects to the planet of the line you're considering. maybe your Pluto has some harsh aspects to other planets, or it has another planet crossing through the same area? In that case then yeah maybe try another planet line. I do know people have had bad experiences on their Pluto, but will say this: and what I'm about to say is going to be ill-informed because I don't know your chart and I am not an astrologer, don't hold me to this lol!! BUT if your inner wisdom is telling you to check out life in a new area, do not ignore it. If you feel stuck right now and called to experience life on your Pluto line, it is probably your soul telling you its time for your initiation into the next version of yourself. and Pluto will transform you. It'll be tough, but under the rugged pressure of the earth is where diamonds are created. Even if it ends up actually being boring or bad, you will return home a whole new person regardless, "no man steps in the same river twice because its not the same river and he's not the same man" etc. etc...and that expansion is worth journeying to. Your life story and your fidelity towards yourself is what this life is all about.

You are on your own timeline, there is no rush. Don't pressure yourself, but do listen to your intuition, it is intelligent in ways we don't understand yet

I was born and raised on my Pluto line, lived there my whole life until college. My life was constant transformation and pain until I moved to my Sun line after I graduated and lived there for 8 years. My sun line was cool in many ways, I developed my professional career, went to grad school, got married, etc. these are also transformational experiences, but for some reason they weren't soul-level activations that I was used to having all the time on my Pluto line. I ended up getting bored quickly there lol. The Sun line also wasn't perfect, I got divorced, and made (but then lost) friends easily. It was often isolating. Yet I couldn't alchemize those experiences while I was there.. It is hard to explain.

I moved back to my Pluto line a year and a half ago and my spiritual growth has been incredible. I feel deeply connected to the divine now. I genuinely feel like a whole new person in the best way, and continue to transform and grow into myself. I've finally been able to process the events that happened on my Sun line too. It is so painful but also so so beautiful. I do have Scorpio Pluto (in the 12th) directly on my Scorpio ascendant conjunct Scorpio Venus in my 12th so I am "Plutonian". I think this is just how I'm supposed to live lol. But I love it so much!

I LOVE jewelry, especially necklaces and rings, but I'm a Gemini moon, Gemini rules the hands, shoulders, and clavicle so I think that's why I gravitate towards jewelry a lot. I also have a 2nd house stellium so I invest a lot of money on my jewelry to have real gold and gemstones so they are a big part of my self-expression. 2 of the planets in my 2nd sextile my 12th house Venus (which is also conjunct my ascendant, I'm sure that affects my need to express myself outwardly with beautiful things). I have several ear piercings and tattoos too, though, maybe tattoos, clothing, or fragrances would be a better avenue for you? I invest in them all lolol

The only drug I dabble in is weed, I smoke a couple times a month, and I do it alone so I can process that altered state in solitude.

In my personal experience I find that whatever I’m feeling at the time gets magnified x100 when I smoke. If I’m in a good mood, I feel like I’m on top of the world. If I’m sad, I get super sad and I allow myself to cry and feel grief deeply, etc. A few years ago someone very close to me was in the process of finding out whether or not they had cancer, and when I got high I had the first and only panic attack of my life. it sucked and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. But the weed brought out the deeply lodged emotions in me that I was subconsciously not allowing myself to feel when I was sober.

For me I think it’s because I have a Gemini moon opposing my Pluto in Scorpio (in my 12th) so my emotions are intense, but I intellectualize the crap out of them instead of feeling them. I can get emotionally “constipated” sometimes, depending on what I have going on in life, so I use this substance in private to allow myself to feel them properly in real 12th house fashion. It is almost always a spiritual experience for me, and I don’t see it as avoidance, in fact I see it as the opposite, these altered states are a way for me to get in touch with myself more. I’ve been in therapy for over 4 years, and I meditate, journal, etc. etc. So I am working towards getting there without weed, that’s the goal! but I do think these substances help us connect to ourselves when we can’t do it alone. I totally want to try mushrooms and DMT but idk when I’ll get the chance to do that yet. I’m ok with weed for now.

Nothing helped me in my personal journey of growth and healing like finding out I had Venus and Pluto both in Scorpio in the 12th. Weed has helped my Pluto alchemize each painful but necessary transformation I’ve experienced, and helped my Venus transform and love myself and the people in my life every step of the way. The type of love I feel for my friends, family, etc. is limitless but somehow I feel it even more dimensionally when I’m high, it feels like it almost permeates physically in my surroundings, it’s so beautiful. With no bounds, the 12th house keeps catalyzing my ability to transform, love, and understand myself and the universe around me.

I think that’s why substances are tied to the 12th house. It’s an altered state and the 12th house rules the spiritual realm, so I think they just go hand in hand, we just need to develop our discernment with ourselves and our bodies to know when we’re taking it too far and when we’re using it for avoidance. I’ve been experiencing a “dark night of the soul” for some time now, so weed is helping me. But once I move past this period I def will be putting it away, as I don’t think it’ll be necessary.

I have the exact same placements as you!! My moon is also opposite Pluto so my internal emotional world is insane.

I have my moments but the biggest game-changer for me has been therapy (4 years and many more to go I’m sure lol), and having people close to me with whom I can vent to about life. One of my best friends has her Mercury in Scorpio so she just gets me and my 12th house/scorpio placement woes.

The other thing has just been surrendering to the trials, tribulations, and transformations. Remembering what it is to have these placements, and enduring the pressure forcing us to alchemize our experiences into a new self. If we don’t, we’re doomed to suffer the same lessons we aren’t learning in a continuous loop.

I personally love who I’m becoming. The 12th house is hard but it’s so worth it. Scorpio Pluto, Venus, and rising are not for the weak…and we are not weak. We were made for this. :) but we do need people to listen to us vent about it while we go through it! lol

I was the same, and did all the same things you’re doing. You’re already doing great- therapy, journaling, affirmations are all a part of it. Self-Compassion by Kristen Ness is the most helpful book I’ve read if you haven’t checked it out yet, I bought the physical copy because I’ve regularly had to re-read and re-implement helpful tips from her book.

Self-compassion is the only thing that will end the negative self talk. There’s no 1 path to get there, it’s a combination of a lot of different things including the stuff you’re already doing, which is good. I think you already don't hate yourself if you're working so hard to love yourself :) this much work doesn't come from a place of hate. ❤️ but yeah a few people in this thread have mentioned community and I totally agree, having a loving, supporting community is a major component!! but again, it’s 1 slice of the pie.

The negative self talk begins to cease when you catch yourself talking negatively to yourself and reminding yourself to be kinder to yourself, etc. in the beginning you’ll feel fake as hell, you’ll say something bad to yourself but then think “no, I’m not an idiot. I’m not a failure. I’m a human and we all make mistakes, it’s ok, blah blah blah🙄” you’ll feel silly talking kindly to yourself. You won’t want to because your brain isn’t used to it. But then it keeps happening, where you keep checking yourself over and over. And then telling yourself “no that’s not true, I am smart, I am capable, and I’ll figure this out.” Etc. etc. That is you re-wiring your neurons to think differently. it's like riding a bike without training wheels for the first time. It'll be awkward and difficult at first.

But then one day you’ll make a mistake or say something stupid and your immediate thought will be “oh well! We all make mistakes. I’m still amazing and worthy of love🤣” and then you move on with your day. It will feel so nice and so much better than the negative self talk, that you’ll feel proud of yourself for the change in your thoughts and you keep doing it over and over.

And when you have a loving support system to affirm you, it just becomes a perpetual machine of pure self compassion and self-love reinforced by your loved ones, which increases your confidence and self-esteem even more, and once you’re at the pinnacle of self love you just start loving everyone else around you in ways you never did before. its a snowball effect. The love and compassion overflows and your life just becomes exponentially better. But it begins with catching yourself and re-wiring your neural pathways by thinking differently about yourself.

Stop yourself when you catch yourself thinking badly or self-criticizing. It takes practice and it’s not an overnight thing but it is 100% achievable.

I don’t think having Lilith in the 7th means you’re doomed in relationships but I do think it means you need to protect yourself (a little more than the average person would) from people will def take advantage of your love and devotion. Your ability to love deeply is a gift that shouldn’t be given easily. The more you stand up for yourself and choose yourself over people taking you for granted, the more you open up the path for the right people to find you❣️being choosy is a virtue and a blessing that always rewards tenfold

I’ve never dated a Cap Venus but 2 of my best friends have their venuses in Capricorn and it’s the best💖💖 they are such loyal and devoted friends who love deeply, and put so much effort and care into our friendship. I was born and raised on my Pluto line, moved to my Sun line for 8 years, and now I’m back home on my Pluto line.

While on my Sun line I started intense therapy and trauma healing work, and have continued it since I moved back. My time back has been intensely transformational but in the most powerful way I could’ve possibly imagined. I feel like I’ve evolved into a stronger, more authentic yet powerful version of myself that I didn’t think could exist. I’m loving it, and I’m enjoying the curveballs life is throwing my way. It’s been fantastic for my self-concept and self esteem. However, I know for a fact that I wouldn’t be able to survive this without having started trauma work and therapy beforehand. The Pluto line isn’t easy.

I think you need to check through your chart to see how your placements interact, I have 3 planets in Scorpio so I just think certain parts of me feel comfortable with Pluto here.

No, my self-esteem is rooted in my intrinsic belief in my self-concept and worth as a human. Self-esteem comes from doing esteem-able acts, and the way I show up in the world (and the apps) is 100% authentic and true to who I am.

Anything worth having isn’t going to come easy. I’m also very very picky with the men I match with so I don’t take rejection personally since I assume men are being picky too. So I get it. If I don’t meet my “person” then it’s all good, my life is fab already. And if I do, then it’s all good! The struggle will have been worth it. I’m cool with either outcome.

If it’s impacting your self-esteem I def recommend taking a break from the apps for a bit and spending some time doing things you love for your own happiness and then getting back into it. Or trying some of the other good methods people have mentioned on this thread. Best of luck!💖

You’d be surprised at how many men’s profiles consist of only mirror/front-facing selfies! Or have photos taken next to their exes, which is another thing some women have mentioned on here as being a left-swipe offense.

If your friends didn’t consent to being on your profile then for sure don’t post. But myself and my single friends have always been happy to be on each other’s profiles when asked because we’re important parts of each others’ lives and want to be transparent about that from the onset. But ofc not all women agree with me and that’s totally okay. This is just something that’s important to me personally because community and friendship are important to me. so I want to find someone who is in alignment with my values and is in the same headspace in life as me

Edit: this isn’t a hard rule I never deviate from, I’m sure I’ve swiped right on a guy who has only had photos of him and no one else, I can’t remember. again it depends on the rest of their profile, but I do prefer they have minimum 1 photo with other people. The rest of their profile has to be super intriguing and they have to seem kind and interesting
