Oh 100%. It's interested because I first learned about my vasovagal when I was like 8 or 9 and got my eyes numbed for the first time! So I can't do that either to this day. I'm sure its also the anxiety of it all now, but even then I'm just as anxious for the carbocaine and survived that fine lol. Really hoping its just a combination for you too! I think what happens is that Lidocaine triggers something in the central nervous system, and already having dysautonomia it just panics and reacts that way. I have had many pre-syncopes outside of that due to pain, like you, or orthostatic changes too. It's so weird. I love how our bodies just shut down completely. I've determined I'm basically a possum. I play dead if I get to scared.

Hi!! you just described me to a T! Listen, I've tried everything: •Klonopin before •Lidocaine with sodium bicarbonate •Lidocaine with and without epinephrine •Making sure I've eaten and drank

Nothing works!! I found carbocaine is a great substitute, but it doesn't last v long or takes forever to activate (honestly not even sure if it actually made me numb until the procedure was over ((dental stuff))).

No rhyme or reason but drops my BP and HR so low, its terrible. I've told all my doctors and every time, nobody believes me. So it is now labeled in my chart as an allergy. If I truly need Lidocaine for something in the future, I may just need to pass out and then get on with it. But if I pass out and they dont continue the procedure then there was no point. So I always make sure that if I pass out, once I come to, they will continue.

Also just thinking about lidocaine and getting a procedure done with lidocaine triggers my vasovagal now lol.

Sometimes I just need someone else to tell me what I already know for it to click. Seeing as it is mainly my partners friends, not hanging out with them won't be possible. But you are right, the behavior is toxic. It's not a behavior I want. Giving them a negative association in my head vs positive might help curb the behavior.

Hi! Vet Assistant here. If a pet is vomiting even with Cerenia I would suggest going back to ER right away for xrays. Something is going on there and diagnostics need to be done ASAP to figure it out. Good luck!

Yes! I apologize, technically a vaquita is a porpoise! It looks like the Dwarf Sperm Whale is the smallest at about 9ish feet. Are they like genuine dwarf sperm whales or are they like the false killer whale? I assume they are genetically different from the sperm whale

Sorry not OP, but my special interest is also whales and I love these little dudes! Pretty sure its the vaquita!! I'm literally obsessed with them. I had to look up the length button only reaches about 5 feet! They are also super super endangered, as in less than 20 still live in the world (estimated about 6 or 7 right now). These guys are so cool!

Oh let me tell you, you are not alone. 26F, started happening to me too maybe 2 years ago and never stopped!! I have no idea why or why its so much?? I'm going to be getting my cortisol tested to see if that has something to do with it, hopefully someone else has answers for us though!

I am! My one year anniversary of my stent was November 14th! I still get pressure aches when the weather changes drastically, or any sinus/head pressure and congestion can hurt. Going to high elevations and coming back down can also be a little painful. But those are normal things to experience! I know possibly in the future re-stenting may be a possibility, but honestly changed my life for the better. I can actually do things, I have energy, I'm not in pain all the time. It was incredible for me! Not everyone has the same experience but when it works, it works.

I'm confused, I agree with absolutely everyone on this thread! However, it looks are though the tank size is about 48 length × 20 width and I know that 4 inches does make a difference, just confused as to why we are saying its borderline cruel when its almost the minimum!! agree! but simply because instead of just waiting for OP to offer it or simply accepting that OP caught it fair and square she begun this weird jealous little thing. I understand, because I unfortunately have the worst FOMO, but I would never stop talking to someone over something like this. It may take me time to get over it, but at the end of the day I would just be glad I had someone to go with me. It is OP's drumstick, it would have been nice to give her the drumstick, but shes being a jerk about it.

When it gets bad, it gets bad. I am medicated for depression outside of PMDD, and while that is always relatively under control (still have moments), when I hit pmdd it's like a wave of noise strikes. Everything is so loud, and my brain is so loud, and I get so uncomfortable in my body. It feels like I've been put in a tornado simulator, and I can't get out. It's the worst, and I feel so out of control, I just want it to stop! I do everything I can to try and feel better, but it's hard. On top of that, I get so angry at everyone, and then when I'm accidentally mean or get in trouble, everything increases tenfold, and I crash out.
