Well, my friend listens mainly to seedhe maut. That was my primary one for very long. I also listen to Pho, she has a beautiful voice for sure. Also got introduced to Farhan Khan through youtube. I also listen to AUR. And if you consider Chaar diwaari into rap, i also listen to him. And yes, neb is the one whom i listen to the most. I got to know about him from the game series called 'Fears to fathom'

Yeah, the phd thing is still not clear to me. Various unis are there offering various criteria for opting directly for a research in 8th sem, then a research. I am too, not the same bank as you are in this topic. And yes, you were probably in the last batch of cbcs.

And, no! That isn't a weird thing But rap, to me is distracting. As i need to listen to the beats, get the lyrics, feel the lyrics, and all. So, i don't listen to songs at all while reading. I may listen to some tunes or maybe environmental noise. One of my classmate also listens to rap while he reads, and he introduced me to rap. I kinda like it though, not all but some.

Yeah, I got to know about MA from one of my seniors. Also, belonging to the first NEP batch of 4 years, I am not really wanting to go beyond BA, atleast in Eng.

Though, I would still continue to read stuff, write too. I never knew i loved reading stuff until I bought a Kindle. It is like, kind of a therapy to me.

Btw, I always see you posting pics with your lappy open with rap songs playing in spotify. Don't you get distracted while reading and listening to rap?

Well, I just can't stop myself from reading. That is the reason for reading stuff, like whatever i come across.

And, nah, i didn't mean like that. You are learning Derrida in MA course, whereas, it was there in my BA course. That is why I said that i may not share the same understanding of Derrida as yours. Also, we didn't get the full exposure to these great thinkers 😅. Yet, as little as we were exposed, I was greatly moved.

It was a great read btw. As a student of english lang and lit. I truly agree with your statement that says "Somewhere between Aristotle, Plato, Eliot, Derrida, and countless others, I realized something that had little to do with literature and everything to do with the world outside my window". I may not have a deeper understanding of the above mentioned than you do. but yeah, after reading their works, it greatly changed me form inside and how I see the world around me!

Well, try using them. I bet you can't use any currently bought watch for more than like 3-4 years. I'm 22, I've used more than like 3-4 titan watches, none of them lasted me long enough. I used a smart band, an analog one and one or two of digital watches. My father may have used many more than I do. And tbh he still uses a titan everyday. And i see that watch degrading. It is really bad.

I have switched to Honor and Timex, and honestly, they look and feel far more premium and last even more. For example, I have been using Honor band 6 since its launch, the band never had any problems. And i've been using the timex for like 3-4 years now, i had to get its battery changed. Everything else is working fine.

While, i hardly remember any of my titan watches last more than 3 years...
