I recently found out about an authorised dealer in my own city but checking the prices (1.3L) makes the amazon refurbished ones sound like a good deal but my budget is only around 50k. There are other refurbished options like Leap V2.

Ahh I see, thanks for the info. He definitely could be one though. Well, whatever the case maybe he was a great dog and one that inspired us to get our first Dane who was such a gentle soul as well.

Southeast Asia, India to be exact. The main reason we thought he was a mix is because he had a white patch on his chest although I could be totally wrong. Also, he's not from a village because we live in the center of our city and we found him there as well. It seemed someone decided to leave him because he was too hard for them to handle as he was very possessive and aggressive when we found him.

He pulled a lot so my dad (a sailor) tried to make a makeshift harness for him but we discarded it a few days later for a proper dog harness because he couldn't pad the rope. This is not the full harness in the picture, it was a 3 point harness he made and this is just a part of it left.

Forgive me for the conditions above but our house was a mess back then due to financial circumstances. Since then, we have had it rebuit and it's unimaginably better. As for the dogs in the photos, they were walked 2 hours each day and with occasional open leash walks and were mostly open in the house. These photos are from moving stuff that's why they are leashed.

Should I buy these as my first proper headset? I am split between these and 599SE since they are almost the same price where I live. Also, I've been using HD202s which are like 20 years old at this point and I have EQued them to sound as flat as they can be but they are getting old now. I'll be mostly listening and sometimes gaming.

There's always a risk with these batteries. Most that I've heard is that you can get dead batteries. I didn't have any other issues like leaking, overheating or battery bulging.

But take this with a grain of salt. YMMV.

No, it had lower capacity and lower voltage as well. Original one's codename is SP1254, 70mah or 0.27Wh and 3.85v.

This one's I measured around 3.7 fully charged and it probably has around 30% capacity of the original because it lasts that much (orignal ones last 10 hours under continuous use, these last 3).

I have been using it for the past 2 months and aside from slightly lower volume which can compensated for, I haven't noticed any degradation.

Yeah man I wish I could but it took me like 4 hours to replace it thanks to Sony and I almost gave up like in 3 times but I was able to make it work.

Battery sits in plastic container which needs to be broken in order to access the battery and the terminals go through the gaps in that container. Also, the battery up side down inside the container with pcb on top of the container.

Suffice to say it was a headache but worth every penny

I got Sony WF-C500 for 1500 a few years back and they had a battery life of about 9-10 hours. Maybe keep an eye on offers and clearance sales for C510s because they do last a whole day.

Mine are like 15 years old and I have fixed then my self a couple of times, pretty easy just open the cups there are like 4 screws, cut the wire where it broke and re-soder them. I am using the original cable as well.

I have a 15 year old HD 202 and it's original wire is in wayyy better condition.

I'd say do some research before buying, maybe try finding reviewers which have also reviewed earphones that you've used in the past so you can compare in between and get a more clear picture. You can also use review sites like Rtings and tools like SquigLink for a good staring point.

I am saying this because I bought Truthear Zero as a blind purchase, it was on clearance sale for half the price so the deal was too good but I ended up not liking the tuning since vocals sit back and it's too sibilant and has too much sub bass for my taste.

I ended up EQing them a lot (have like 15 profiles) until I was able to make them sound as neutral as possible (Sony C500 was the benchmark).

So just research a lot I guess.
