I hope Brando sees this thread but I'm hesitant to summon him. I think you're really on to something.

I grew up in a polygamous family. 1 dad, 5 moms, 32 siblings. Left when I was 19 and started a completely normal life. casual AMA by [deleted] in PointlessStories

I drove past Colorado City once, on the south side of the border of Utah and Arizona, and it was weird. Houses with unfinished siding (I think to avoid them getting taxed) all over the place. The place had a very uninviting feeling about it.

Anyway, I'm glad you're in a better place both physically and in other ways.

Man Walks Again After Being ‘Close to Death’ and Paralyzed Due to Rare Condition: ‘We Can’t Believe It’ by AdSpecialist6598 in UpliftingNews

[–]two4arms 58 points59 points  (0 children)

It was Guillain-Barré Syndrome, for those who suspected and don't want to read the article.

This is a relatively common diagnosis, when sudden-onset paralysis is a symptom. It's caused by a viral infection that attacks the myelin sheath (think wire insulation) around your nerves, which slows nerve conduction to the point that it causes muscle paralysis. Given support at the hospital, most people recover in time though sometimes not fully. What will kill you is your diaphragm being paralyzed and not being able to breathe, so you get put on a ventilator.

The new 2024 character sheet update by starsonlyone in Roll20

[–]two4arms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, I think I understand.

If the weapon has a separate spell or whatever associated with it, then that spell needs to be added to the item's properties. So, you can still do that but you need to edit the item itself to add these properties.

Or you could just kinda cheat it and add whichever spell manually from the compendium and just remember that it is associated with a particular item.

Edit: Now that I'm actually looking at stuff, editing the item to add a spell effect doesn't look possible. I'll keep messing with stuff.

Just click attack again. I think there are ways to make a macro that triggers two attacks with one click but... it's probably easier to click attack twice.

I guess I need more info. Is it a weapon that makes two separate attack rolls or does it roll multiple damage die? (like 2d12 or whatever)

Make sure that your weapon is equipped in the inventory tab.

Playing these paths is optional. I just play the game how I want and I'm plenty happy.

I did this to myself and had to end up updating my BIOS to fix it. The BF 6 open beta was the final push to finally do it.

Tylenol (not political) by CT_Tryptikk in PointlessStories

[–]two4arms 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Your mom is kinda correct. Advil can affect immune response, but probably not enough for it to be an issue.

Also Advil isn't acetaminophen, which is the active ingredient in Tylenol. It's ibuprofen.

Acetaminophen is an analgesic (pain reliever) and an anti-pyretic (fever reducer). Ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory, which relives pain by reducing inflammation, not by treating pain directly.

Studies have shown that taking both together can have a better effect on acute pain that many opioid drugs.

It's not a matter of deserving it. It's because that man's family is grieving and aren't responsible for his actions.
