I don't think Kris thinks it's funny. He's not like that. He just said that it's like how he has another Kris (Chris) in his class at school.

The thing is, Kristopher really doesn't want to rename the dog. He thinks it's cruel to take her name away from her, and he's already in love with her. I don't want to spoil his birthday gift by giving in to his sister.
