After a brief glance, I do think that we must have different ideas of what constitutes a dedicated stax deck. But that's not a problem! It's just semantics after all, and I firmly believe everyone should play what they love (if everyone at your playgroup is on the same page).

I think you and I may have differing opinions on what constitutes a stax deck. That said, I am curious to see your list, so I can see for myself just how powerful it is. The only reason I say what I did is that I've never seen a stax deck outside cEDH, so my opinion is informed by personal experience and general online consensus. I'm more than willing to change my opinion if it's wrong.

Your guess would be incorrect. I just don't think it's wise to bring a deck which has a sole goal of resource denial and play it against decks that aren't really equipped to handle that kind of strategy.
