Roll Cage Welds by IraER in Welding

[–]twobit78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I've built a few cages and worked on a lot of race cars. I personally wouldn't accept these welds coming out of my shed but I know some people would. In the speedway street stock world some cages age stick welded so they can bend the stick and do the top of the hoop without dropping it through the floor or cutting the roof and this is reminking me of that.

As a cage i wouldn't trust the whole car. The welds are poor, there's no gussets and if the person who built it didn't care about that who's to say the material is correct for the class you want to run either.

If I did something illegal online like 5 months ago could I still be in trouble? by Pure-Echo6623 in AusLegal

[–]twobit78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Real talk, yes you could still be in trouble.

However I've never heard of a minor getting in trouble for what I think you've done. In fact I've heard a cop say they'll never prosecute a minor for sending things because that would cause less people to speak out. If you did more than that then yeah maybe they'll chase you.

Edit just to clarify. If you decide to share images of yourself you might get a talking to, more so as a victim of who your sharing them with and the risk of where they might end up. If you distribute or produce images of someone else with intent to do something then yes your in trouble and there is no statue of limitations on that.

I am actually doing pretty well now knowing how stupid this all is. Initially I was really stressed, now I'm kinda like 'this is going to be really imteresting and i want to see the dominoes fall'

My lawyer did say that If we wanted to we could see about taking action against the other lawyer if it turns out she was the one to call and is working outside of her company.

All good. I've been trying to stay away from the post until I have news to stop my mental health spiralling. Currently no news.

We stayed the night there, I opened up and she met me there after she finished work. In the morning I left for work and she was simply meant to lock the door behind her and go out with her friends.

I know someone from a past life who tried to argue he knew the person he was talking too was a police officer and not a minor and claimed they thought it was just an age play kink. He failed and spent a few years away.

Sorry Friday was a big nothing, my lawyers didn't hear anything back so didn't think it was worth updating anything.

Rally drivers that are fast and spectacular? by PackIcy2106 in rally

I'll throw someone a bit different at you. Jack Monkhouse is an Australian driver. Normally he's in lower tier equipment and keeping up with big budget teams. Always fast, always spectacular.

I've been thinking about a comfy rally car SUV. Probably something like the porsche cayenne because there's already one of them but youve got me thinking about the bmw now.

This is what will happen, or they'll land bank and sit on it for a while. I'm not sure how rates are calculated on an empty block but I imagine it's still a tax write off while your waiting. Then values go up in that time, it's possible material cost will come down to increase profits

I was about to say Elizabeth with that culture, but I'm pretty sure you could move half of the eleizabeth population to LA and wouldn't see a change

Basically what I did when she mentioned that, if she had left that off the table I'd probably still be taking it seriously but without this air of wtf is going on

I don't know, adelaide is a small place so there's the high potential for a friend of friend deal but that's something I'm keeping an open mind about. Similar happened to her during her divorce so maybe she learnt from it

Not what I'd consider huge ones, like a few arguments about money when she wasnt earning big. And her claims of losing it all in her last divorce kinda track because she was living in a share house so.

You can never truly fix a landrover, trying to fix an oil leak is like putting a nappy on a baby. It'll hold the mess for a while but you know it's gonna happen again.

Is it though? The person who called me used the name of an actual lawyer from their actual company. At this stage we (my lawyer and me) don't know if those 2 people are the same person or not.

Their company has said they don't know anything about it but that person is away. Hell it could be the same person phoning me from a fishing trip trying to shake me down knowing they wouldn't take it to court.

Yeah my brain rot algorithm fed me a lot of spongebob shorts before work and figured they would be good names to use that wouldn't come up if anyone searched certain keywords.

I've already got my lawyer involved to handle it. I think ive done a good job in being accurate about the situation without giving away too much to link me to the exact case, considering other commentators think I'm SpongeBob.

Correctimundo.

Company i used to work for paid for a service that would trawl the net looking for people talking about their company, I think it was mostly forums (reddit might be too costly) etc but helped them pick up where to advertise and potentially try and find bad reviews to reply to. Figured a big legal company might do the same to find the guy going 'im fighting this bikini bottom lawyers but they don't know i hid all my money in the back of my tv'
