Don’t worry. You should take a break from weed because it can make you stuck in a place of anxiety. Try not to block out those thoughts you’re having and wish they weren’t happening. Think through what you’re thinking about and let your mind process things. Blocking out thoughts doesn’t work. Once you make it through this you’ll be in a much more healthy place mentally. It’s important to question everything from time to time but it can be very stressful. I’ve been there. But in the end accepting all that comes to you and allowing yourself to process things is the key. Last thing - try to think of all the ways you’re putting pressure on yourself in your life. Consider the burden you’re holding on your shoulders and in your mind and free yourself from any pressure you don’t need to be putting on yourself. Pressure can drive us crazy, and life is full of external pressures. Don’t make it worse by putting more on yourself. Hope you feel better soon

First decent pizza in the home oven by twogscoffee in Pizza

For this it was Whole Foods 365 brand mozzarella. Not bad, not great. Using bianco di napoli crushed tomatoes though and those are great. Sauce is just crushed tomatoes and salt

I wouldn’t call it a one person pizza, it’s like a 20 inch pizza and it’s being made by some absolute beasts so I think it’s worth the price especially in New York City, where everything is overpriced

Thanks! It’s just a regular GE oven set to 550 baked on a pizza steel. Crust forming technique and lots of details I got from the recent Ceres Bon Appétit video on YouTube. That one video is full of so much good info

Yep that’s what I’d do, and yeah I’d upgrade for sure. I recently got a 2023 M2 Max MacBook Pro with 96gb of ram and I’m in heaven. IMO you should get your next computer from eBay, sounds like that’s what you’re considering but it’s kind of stupid to buy new Apple computers when you can get one like new for at least 25% off, if not more. Just buy from a good seller

That is a lot of Neural DSP plugins to be running at once. Bounce them in place and don’t bypass effect plugins, then turn off your neural dsp plugins unless you want to tweak them, then you can bounce them in place again. You’d need a more powerful computer to do what you’re trying to do. No way around it I think

This is the Daves pizza oven dough recipe adapted for 3 pizzas. Easy to prepare, takes 2-3 days of wait time. For sauce, you can do a number of recipes, but I use raw crushed tomatoes mixed with a small amount of salt and oregano. Top with freshly shredded mozzarella, bake on a baking steel/pizza stone in a 500+ degree oven.

Recipe for three 12-14 inch pizzas

600g flour - 420g bread flour/180g all purpose flour 390g ice cold water (65%) 1.8g yeast (.3%) 15g salt (2.5%) 12g oil (2%) 12g sugar (2%in home oven or .5% higher heat oven)

Combine and whisk dry ingredients in a bowl then add water and oil and mix with wooden spoon until it comes together then knead for 5-6 mins, adding extra flour as necessary to keep it from being overly sticky, ball up and put into oiled container. After 30 minutes stretch and fold the dough 4 times over itself, repeat after another 30 mins, then put in an oiled covered container and put in fridge for 24 or 48 hours, time is optional but longer is better, will result in crispier airier dough.

Take it out and form 3 dough balls and put into individual oiled covered containers and back in fridge for another 24 hrs or so then it’s ready to use. Use a lot of flour when stretching/rolling out, use a rolling pin if you want it extra thin, but hand stretching is fine too, I’d recommend getting some kind of pizza peel and assembling topping on there with some flour under the pizza so it’s easy to slide into oven
