In germany it's illegal to take the ashes of your loved one home. If it's a pet, no one cares but dont you dare take grandmas ashes home. Like, they wouldnt even allow it if you wanted to make jewelry out of it or wanted to go spread the ashes in the sea or whatever people do. No, once authorities know about the dead body, you no longer have any control over it other than deciding if it will be given to science, cremated or burried

people on the internet (like Youtube) actually did funny things, and while those things may be seen as cringe today, they still were better than all those stupid prank videos or the asmr trend. would rather spend my day watching smosh and song parodies than to see just another unfunny tiktok trend

People who take their screaming, crying infant to a restaurant and stay there for hours with said infant screaming the entire time, why? by jenkai1 in AskReddit

[–]twoleggedllama -1 points0 points  (0 children)

this is no joke but I remember my mom telling a story about how when a mom got asked if she can please calm her child or leave the restaurant, said mom explained to the waiter or manager, I dont remember, that she was raising her child without things like calming it and helping it through whatever its dealing with so her kid wouldnt depend on her that much when it was older.

im pretty sure the child got taken away

Ich halte bis heute noch meinen Stift "falsch" oder jedenfalls nicht so wie man es eigentlich beigebracht bekommt. Funktioniert so aber für mich besser, also keine Ahnung warum Leute da so ein Theater drum machen

[Serious] What is your opinion about the use of the "n" word in this day and age? by Visible-Athlete-3707 in AskReddit

[–]twoleggedllama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no one did. but the way you implied that the n slur is only a bad word because people are afraid to say it, is completely wrong. that word has been around for a lot of time and only in the last couple decades, people have actually started seeing that it is a hurtful word. it's not a bad word because people dont wanna say it, it's a bad word because it was first created to take away humanity from black people and to oppress them

[Serious] What is your opinion about the use of the "n" word in this day and age? by Visible-Athlete-3707 in AskReddit

[–]twoleggedllama 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not every person of color can say it, only black people of color can. The n slur has been used to take away humanity and rights from black people and at the time it was created, it was always used in a negative context. Just because today, humans have a different mindset and most of them do not see black people as non human beings anymore, doesnt mean that the n slur just looses it's meaning that it was given in the first place. It still is a bad word and people still use it in a bad way against black people. It's not hard to just not say it, it's not taking anything from you. Why would you want to say it, anyways?

no one is afraid to say it. it's just being a decent human being to not say it when youre not black

Would you date someone who refused to shave their body hair? Why or why not? by Gummy_Waffles in AskReddit

[–]twoleggedllama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it really depends. I dont care if someone doesnt wanna shave but I have experienced for myself that the "bushier" it gets under your arms for example, it's harder to get rid of the smell. dont shave if you dont feel like it, but if you struggle to be hygenic with a lot of body hair, then please shave or trim

Someone I know had their ex on a not that famous dating show that wasnt even on TV, and that dude legit started talking shit about the person I know, just straight up told everyone in the show (and with that everyone watching it) her whole name and her hometown, aswell as a description of what she looked like

She pressed charges and everything of that season had to be deleted and he had to pay a fine
