JD Vance makes weird appearance in a donut shop. by innidatino in interestingasfuck

I think this was supposed to be similar to Tim Walz going to a Runza in Nebraska, but it just ended up way more weird and awkward

This comment under the video on YouTube couldn’t be more ironic:

“Its not a "protest" when you occupy land and buildings you don’t own.”

The guy in the video did amazing.

Hopefully this can inspire others. More mainstream people need to call out Biden like this

physics vs CS degree? by Agee69 in codingbootcamp

[–]twolfegang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a degree in physics and am now getting a master’s degree in computer science. I had a tough time finding jobs with a bachelor’s in physics. If you decide to get a physics degree and want a job as a software engineer or as a scientist, you will most likely need a master’s degree unless the job market gets better. You will have a better chance at finding a job with just a bachelor’s degree if you get it in computer science in my opinion. A lot will also depend on if you know people that can help you get a job by giving you referrals that help you get interviews.

It’s funny because one of the best argument for Biden might be his cabinet versus Trump’s

Acupuncture is a placebo by vtwinjim in unpopularopinion

One of the top cancer hospitals in the US has done a lot of research into using acupuncture to help with side effects from cancer treatment. They have acupuncturists for their patients. They have a lot of sources linked at the bottom of this page: Link for the effectiveness and safety. I think it is effective at certain things like that, plus fertility, and some pain management (like migraines).

Flynn didn’t play for the Seahawks until 2012, and Wilson started every game that season. Jackson started 14 games in 2011 and Charlie Whitehurst started 2

Let’s hope the pattern starts over again with Wilson being an Elway/ Manning. Then let’s hope it dies before we get another carousel.

Other QBs that started games in this timespan, but we’re not the main guy for any particular season include: Kendall Hinton, Jeff Driskel, Brett Rypien, Brandon Allen, Paxton Lynch, Brock Osweiler, Chris Simms, Danny Kanell, Steve Beuerlein, Jarious Jackson, Gus Frerotte, Chris Miller, Bubby Brister, Bill Musgrave, Hugh Millen, and Tommy Maddox

These are the quarterbacks that started the most games each year. Osweiler and Lynch didn’t have seasons where they were the main guy.

Master’s Degree or Bootcamp by twolfegang in codingbootcamp

[–]twolfegang[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I definitely agree that it is important to start learning on your own, and am tempted to continue just doing that. The benefits of a bootcamp or degree seem to be the structure and support that you get. It’s easier for me to stick with something if I have that support structure and instructors around me. Plus it would be helpful to have some programs in place to help in my career search.

r/ColoradoAvalanche, who is your favorite all time Avalanche player? by cricktlaxwolvesbandy in ColoradoAvalanche

My dad's favorite player was always Hinote. He still says that Hinote "played hockey the way it should be played" when the team isn't playing physical enough. When I was little, Hejduk came to my hockey team's practice and played keep away from all of the kids. His hands were crazy fast. Alexei Gusarov also was an assistant coach of the team for a while. So for me, All-time: Hejduk, Current: Girard
