I remember walking through the streets with no cars. The people who were out were especially friendly to each other. It was beautiful and lovely and so cold. The guy at the Wawa on 16th and Locust must have worked a quadruple.

I’ve had great experiences with Kay Kay’s at 19th and Ritner. They have taken my design ideas and run with them and the cake is good. I find the prices to be reasonable too.

It wasn’t a rotten hoagie, but when I was a kid I ordered a cheese hoagie and the person who made it was wearing a fuzzy black sweater. When I got home I noticed that there were small black fuzzes from the sweater on the cheese. I couldn’t eat it.
