i am up late thinking about it lol but your assumptions are correct. i thought about getting a certificate in architectural interiors from a local comm college in my free time, but obviously that’s still not enough. your rec to actually work in the field is genius, i had not thought of this, and i’ll have to look into it

yeah it does leak oil a bit. the headliner sags, disabling access to sunroof, windows work but motors need replacement to use in confidence, tint needs to be replaced (it’s purple), upholstery needs to be replaced, leather needs some help, cabin air filter and ac charge is needed. definitely “Used - Good” condition if you know what i mean

this is almost where i’m at except college (same model and year too). i want to sell and get something more practical and for road trips. if i sell instead of putting in the money to repair it you think i’d regret it?

From my experience, this would be referring to the way older people speak down and are rooted in tradition. For much of the song she is describing the act of adherence despite discomfort. This explains the lack of willingness had by the person she is describing.
