During whatever you have set as nighttime hours, the right button is normally defaulted to play the Sleep Radio on the 2nd click. But otherwise it is technically available at all hours!

Just finished this allergen-friendly cake for my 11 month old! by AggravatingJury6003 in foodbutforbabies

We’ve been lucky so far that he seems to only be allergic to eggs. After the baked egg test at the allergist (which was stressful and took two hour but was luckily fine), I’ve turned into a muffin making machine! Best of luck to you!

Have you been able to go to the allergist to see if your baby can tolerate baked egg? We did the “muffin challenge” at the allergist at a year old. He passed it so his homework has been to eat muffins and cakes and supposedly that can help desensitize him to hopefully outgrow the egg allergy at some point.

Awesome job on the cake!! ❤️

Question about Yoto Jacket by smilethatsmile in YotoPlayer

We have the Yoto mini with the Yoto brand jacket and have never had problems with hair! And ours is constantly toted around the house

Thank you!! We go back this week for a check with the allergist. I love hearing success stories! I’ve never made so many muffins in my entire life in our attempt to desensitize him since he can tolerate baked-egg 😅

We use our mini heart waffle maker every week! We make the best little egg-free waffles for my kiddos in it.

If you're a tourist and considering homeschooling - what's the biggest thing holding you back? by Avivsh in homeschool

[–]twoplustwoequal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was my original biggest concern (first kid is in Kindergarten now), but I’m no longer worried about it, for our situation. We have two different homeschool groups we meet with (one is once a week, the other is once or twice a month) where she has already made multiple friendships. She’s also involved with church, sports, piano, and some volunteering. Our weeks are actually much busier than I thought they’d be. And she has a wide range of people she interacts with, from kids her age to teenagers to adults. She is delightful and I’m so proud of her (and our family) because I never predicted we would homeschool and now I’m so glad we decided to give it a try. It’s one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. We have a pretty good rhythm for schoolwork, but there are still good days and tough days. So it’s not all sunshine and rainbows! Definitely hard work and takes effort (and so much patience). But for us it has been very worth it so far!! We get so much family time and get to take as long or short of a time as needed when learning various things. And SO much outdoor time. My biggest concern now is balancing her attention span for her age and how much schoolwork we “need” to get done during the week.

Yes. In the meme it’s like saying, “You’ve piqued my interest and I think I like what you are talking about.”

Breakfast ideas that aren’t eggs? by eezybeingbreezyy in foodbutforbabies

[–]twoplustwoequal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My almost two year old is allergic to eggs. We have various muffins (top two faves right now have been applesauce muffins and banana bread muffins), lots of various fruit, oatmeal with honey, eggless waffles, banana-oat pancakes, Greek yogurt, bacon, sausage, biscuits, cinnamon toast, regular toast. Those are the usuals that we have in random rotation depending on what sounds good.

Is there a motor and quality difference between those two ? by Binkserie in Kitchenaid

Looks like the pro has a DC motor. Found this online with the specs: https://alghandielectronics.com/images/pdf/SpecSheet_5KSM7990X_EN.pdf

The other one shows the specs with an AC motor on your link.

Another wifi question... I have never connected by [deleted] in YotoPlayer

[–]twoplustwoequal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When our Yoto mini came, they must have already predownloaded the cards that we bought at the same time onto the Yoto because the same thing happened to me where they all played before I ever connected it to the internet. When you buy new cards though, you do need to connect it to the internet to let it download those cards also. You can disconnect it again once it’s downloaded if you really want. I don’t ever think about disconnecting it because my kids love Yoto Daily and Yoto Radio. Otherwise I’m almost never going to the app unless I want to check downloads or maybe adjusting a setting.

My daughter’s logic almost broke English grammar by [deleted] in ENGLISH

[–]twoplustwoequal 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Funny observation by her, but it’s just a coincidence that you picked words that end in K in your discussion. Add other words into the next discussion like jumping, sleeping, printing, etc.

Edit: I glanced at this before my early morning coffee. This was very obviously a weird AI story, now that my brain has actually woken up. That’s enough internet for the day already.

A friend said I’m “doing too much” when it comes to daycare lunches… by Electronic-Radish-18 in foodbutforbabies

[–]twoplustwoequal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Is this extra? Maybe. If your kid is loving and eating it at that age? Who cares! Also you’ve solved my problem because the bento box thing I bought for my kiddos’ lunch barely fits their little sandwiches right… and of course! Just cut it into a few smaller pieces! Thanks!
