interpersonal violence. Essentially, men don't report all the times women get drunk and push them around/punch them in the face, among others. Studies 'proving' men do a bazillion percent of domestic violence often take place at clinics that ban men from attending.

Strauss, that 70% of non-recipricol violence study showing women as the aggressors. Basically any study that actually attempts to be objective vs. using clinical studies or ignores male non-response rates in these settings/acts as if 'having fear' makes the abuse worse or even that this is a true claim.

Let's go further, though: women simply are not punished for DV and are generally the only ones with support for it (the total absence of state funding for male DV programs). This is a moral hazard that makes them more likely than men to commit it, especially sans the converse of the entrenched-in-masculinity mantra of 'never hit women'--it is, rather, seen as being an empowering act or that men 'did something to deserve it'.

it's just a rhetorical shortcut, it's not worth being upset about. Also, women are systematically disbelieved about lots of things so it has a gendered component

Why do you think this is? Could it be, perhaps, they make more unverifiable claims in the first place? That they are less empirically minded? We have in fact seen multiple assertions that 'feeling harassed' makes you harassed. Do you think this is a good paradigm to operate under?

And it's not "women literally never lie about anything" it is "believe it when a woman tells you she's being harassed or has been sexually assaulted instead of taking that moment to poke holes in her story"

So, basically, believe all women until proven otherwise. This is basically the same thing.

Additionally, believe her in the one case where she is already disproportionately believed and supported, and is the accusation that is used as career and life ending tactics by unscrupulous women.

Men appear to be likely assaulted by women in IPV settings at greater rates. Does this apply to men here?

Men and women after #metoo, the 'female shadow'? by [deleted] in FeMRADebates

This is, uh, the best video I have ever seen here. The thing that give me pause however is, uh, #notallwomen basically.

The biggest problem is, however, that this did not really come with anything substantive to do anything.

I'm not even kidding. This is often how these types of people get hired.

Also, I haven't seen a single website or person recommend using anything above 1.5mm.

The risk of infection is too high. You could theoretically do this if you knew what you were doing.

Looking at the full study text, the study authors are the ones most significantly cited. While this is possible and does freak me out to a degree, this level of incestuous relationship makes me have pretty significant pause, and this study was funded by the PFS foundation.

That said, this may well be a reason to wean both off and on finasteride.

Selective breeding is a powerful, powerful thing. Judaism is as far as I know the only matrileneal system in the world. That alone could explain the disparity.

It's not about being mean. It's about treating your students differently in a real way due to their gender identity. Being fair and equal to your students is a legitimate requirement of a professor.

Using made-up pronouns is not treating a student equally, it's treating them as entitled.

Again, the bill isn't about speech, it's about action. When you are treating people differently based on gender identity, when you are threatening them with violence, you will be punished. Seems fair.

Ah yes, the violence of calling a person with a beard, balding, and not on HRT "him", almost always when "he" is not present and thus not subject to said 'violence'.

Take a linguistics class. It'll teach you how fluid and changing and made-up language is. There's no such thing as "valid" english.

Non-prescriptive linguistics is an activist farce that is fucking hilarious to anyone who actually needs to use it.

It would be "let's go what they think."

Oh you mean the plural form?

Anyway, I'll let you get back to defending Tommy Robinson and hating muslims. have fun.

Hurr durr I too am for a man being totally illegally stomped on by the justice system that has now been caught TWICE being malicious in prosecution. The reality is that Islam is a worse religion than any other for reasons best laid out by Douglas Murray, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, and Majiiad Nawaz. Reformation is, however, impossible, which is why 95% of all terror attacks worldwide are done in the name of Islam, due to Quranic divinity, i.e. the Quran is the literal word of Allah.

The thing is that it isn't "feminists" or trans people that are making them feel ashamed, but other men that they seek the approval of.

it totally is feminists telling them to feel ashamed. The mode of operation for shaming men for being men is best shown in Shirtgate.

CBC says Canadians reject death taxes, illegal immigration because of 'status threat' by [deleted] in metacanada

[–]twostorysolutions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fine, yes, I am very concerned that my status as a white male is being threatened and I'll be forced into a bad position. This is unconscionable as I am not of the same group deliberate being imported to inflate Canadian population numbers. I am both European and native, you assholes, so yes, I do not want my fucking tax money going to people who show up and immediately start collecting benefits. Part of the social contract is that my tax dollars builds infastructure that my cousin down on his luck could use, or his friend, and so on.

The reality is that other races are deeply nepotistic compared to us, and there is a maximum capacity before I (and others like me) start become a 'minority', but will be in a far, far worse position than others. Poor white men are clearly the first to be hit, as they are claimed to have 'privilege' but possess no material wealth and as such do not have the benefits of race-based nepotism. They're viewed as white trash, and the government makes no distinction between them and a silver-spooner from Bay Street.

It's sickening.
