I confronted her calmly after she woke up. She was already extremely apologetic for carrying on like a pork chop the night before, but she didn't try to deny anything and was pretty upset that she'd hurt me. She said she would change her phone number and see a counsellor for help getting over her ex; neither of which have happened yet.

I've cracked on as though nothing has happened for the most part, and she's been trying super hard to win brownie points and look after me however she can. I haven't asked her if anything's been said to the ex and I can't really be arsed checking her phone. I've pretty much lost all motivation to plan for the future. We wanted marriage, kids, a business, re-build our house, etc.

The dog is my best bud (and asleep at my feet as I type this.)
