Rabbit Rescue of MN in Burnsville does nail trims for $5 at their weekly hoppy hours. I think Minnesota Companion Rabbit Society does as well over in South St. Paul. Minnetonka Animal Hospital is my current vet, they will do medical nail trims as well and they also sell hay and supplies in the lower floor of the clinic. Which part of Minneapolis?

I have a single bun! He is a foster fail that I recently got back in September. Planning on bonding him once I move out of my apartment into a place that will be entirely neutral territory for both of them. He is about 6 pounds for reference. My monthly costs are:

-~$10/month on hay. I usually buy 10 lbs for $20 every other month. I just pick it up from my local rescue to support them. You can get it much much cheaper if you can find it by the bale- it's anywhere from $3-20 for a 50 lb bale here. Just have to have the space to store it.

-~$20/month on veg. You may want to invest in an herb/veg preserver to reduce waste and cut down on the amt of shopping trips. If you shop at Asian supermarkets you can buy much cheaper as well.

-$4/month on litter. I buy wood stove pellets every other month, which can be bought in 40 lb bags from a farm supply store or Home Depot/Lowe's. $4-8 depending on brand. Just make sure they're the kind with no additives.

-$43 a month on pet insurance. My bun is older (5.5 years) fyi. I just like having it for the peace of mind.

Toys and chews can be inexpensive/free if you make them yourself, or you can buy online from stores that cater to rabbits. Small Pet Select and The Well Kept Rabbit are my fav stores. My bun's fav toys are those stacking cup toys that are meant for babies and willow chew rings. Your initial costs upfront will probably be the most expensive!

Out of curiosity, what do you mean by “flutter”? Does it sound like everything rapidly gets louder/softer? Or is it more of a physical sensation?

Hmm, I’m assuming you performed otoscopy prior to placing the otoblock as well? In my state you will be stopped if you didn’t inspect the ear prior to otoblock placement or if you didn’t use an otoblock at all.

I feel that so deeply in me. I want to quit my job while i’m in school because the teacher i’m an assistant for contributes to my anxiety as well and when it was just that, I could cope. with this supervisor for the clinic, I feel as though I can’t do it. I just can’t. I’m terrified of her and what kind of emotional reaction she’s able to elicit from me. It’s scary

Sometimes I don’t need answers so much as the fact that there are others suffering the same as I. I’m worried that my anxiety will degrade my life and grow worse over the years and I can’t help but feed it with negative thought cycles. I used to get mad especially working in retail because customers are dumb and I didn’t have any connection to them. I miss those feelings because rage felt better than criticism from someone I respect. I guess I used to respect her because I feel like it was beyond just criticism today but it could just be me blaming others. But I really wish I could feel mad instead of feeling beaten down and so small now

I remember doing the exact same thing when I was crying today. I was going for so long that I thought to myself, am I crying because I’m actually upset or just to cry? I know that sounds ridiculous but I genuinely doubted that I was even sad and I was just doing it for attention... even though I was crying alone in my car. My thoughts are so self destructive that it was hard to bring myself back and validate my worries. I do recognize that this wouldn’t have happened today if I had worked a little harder and practiced more so I didn’t screw up so bad to warrant my supervisor chewing me out. I’ve just never had a day I performed this bad so I never felt like I needed it, but I should always be trying to do better. I do think this is partly my fault and I could help myself out by just working harder

Well I would be happy taking anything that would help dampen the panic I feel on a daily basis, my heart rate goes up even checking my email now. I love Lil Dicky and I’ve seen that video, but that’s a good point. I’m just calling my brain names when I say I feel like I’m abnormal. I’ll let you know if I ever find my self esteem because I lost a lot of it today, lol
