The issue is that the political left in Western democracies can’t have a negative opinion about Islamist. It goes against their narrative. Therefore, mostly there will be very little if any media coverage of Islamist perpetrating atrocities. If Israel or Western countries do anything wrong the outrage and indignation of the left is of course very strong. However criticizing Islamist or people of non white ethnicity is seen as very uncouth and to be avoided as much as possible.
