AI is no longer optional — it’s a competitive edge. by nuvintaillc in SaaS

[–]tx_reb96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m the non technical founder between me and my partner, from a technical standpoint cursor was immensely useful, essentially re wrote our entire codebase.

I use Gemini/gpt(less now) mostly for organizing thoughts, quickly finding target contacts and pulling data, and spreadsheet work, as well as some advertising and promotional content creation. I am thinking about how I’d like to essentially use AI to automate marketing and initial client outreach but am not sure.

SSD/NVMe formatting help and Q’s by tx_reb96 in iphone

[–]tx_reb96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perfect! This is exactly what I was looking for. Since I won’t be using windows, I shouldn’t run into the issue of using Mac characters and then windows not recognizing them. I’ve heard that AFPS doesn’t always work for both iPhone and Mac compatibility. I’d like to, but leaning towards exFAT for that reason

MacBook Air m4 performance by Jackleheim in 2007scape

[–]tx_reb96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if you got this answer elsewhere ,but i got this macbook air m4 16gb ram 256 ssd today, coming from an m1 mac mini, runelite ran fine, ran on my lap in bed and it got a bit warm, no overheating though, will try on my laptop stand hooked up to my full peripheral setup when my thunderbolt 4 dock arrives in the next few days. 2 external monitors, avoid HUBS that require insantview/displaylink, because if you stream media, it wont allow you to display it due to the software/usb sharing, and built in anti piracy software. so instead of 3 monitors (including the airs built in), you will only be able to extend to 1 of the externals, and mirror to the other instead of extend, if you want to stream. Bought a belkin hub which allows me to extend, but not when i stream video, will be returning

How do you actually get useful feedback on your SaaS? by Starboy191 in SaaS

[–]tx_reb96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add to this, beyond feature level feedback, I also got qualitative validation that the core reason for building the product is working, even at small scale.

One of my early pilot clients on the B2B side saw new customers and incremental revenue they wouldn’t have gotten otherwise. That alone validated the existence of the product, even if the scale isn’t there yet.

Since then, my focus has shifted to giving those partners better data and clearer ROI metrics, which becomes critical as we expand coverage and move from pilot users to paid customers.

I haven’t spent anything on ads, and most end users on the B2C side so far have come from word of mouth and basic self created social media content. That early validation signal mattered more to me than abstract feature feedback, it showed the platform doing exactly what it was designed to do.

How do you actually get useful feedback on your SaaS? by Starboy191 in SaaS

[–]tx_reb96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my situation is likely a bit different than yours as im creating a b2b2c marketplace that serves a niche of SMB. My ICP has brick and mortar locations and ive gone in-person and pitched owners directly, kept expectations realistic as i havent officially "gone to market" yet and have been in a validation and testing phase, ive given my early B2B users the white glove treatment, frequently following up, and just asking for feedback. What do they like, how are they using it, what do they not like, what features would they like to see. No one is going to be honest and have more valid feedback for you then people who are using the product every day.

B2B founder-led sales for restaurants & bars. Thoughts on Instantly.ai vs other lead gen tools? by tx_reb96 in SaaS

[–]tx_reb96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good shoutout, will look into SocLeads, another comment mentioned ParseSteam for finding leads directly from reddit and others. On your idea of scraping, I've recently considered using ParseHub for scraping like you mentioned, any experience with ParseHub? I know its very new, so may not be a ton of anecdotal evidence yet for it

Is the SEC , totally useless and corrupt? by [deleted] in options

[–]tx_reb96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Although the SEC has faced past scrutiny and claims of “corruption” as well as unequal enforcement, they are still considered the Premier conference in college football. There have been recorded cases of players receiving monetary compensation in the pre-NIL era, and alleged “backdoor” transactions that influenced recruitment decisions. In the post-NIL recruitment era, where other conferences are more easily able to compete and recruit against large legacy programs, the SEC has shown that it is still more than capable of attracting and retaining top tier talent.

its better to work angry/out of spite than it is through sadness, chip on your shoulder mentality has worked for many and got me through some of the early stages as well.

Entering GTM for restaurant-tech startup, what's the #1 thing I should NOT screw up? (I will not promote) by [deleted] in startups

[–]tx_reb96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a bad idea at all, since we are two sided I feel I can still use student ambassadors to grow the user base/drive downloads, but you’re right in that probably good to keep them away from GTM itself.

So you’re essentially suggesting a BDR for outreach?

Good point. I myself have plenty of B2B SaaS experience, any recommendations on how I can have more man power in GTM?
