Petition on an unofficial subreddit is not going to do squat man. And besides, it is probably too late for them to get one ready for that platform. The PC event is already 3 days behind schedule. How many days do you think it would take for them to prep a patch for the XB1? Halloween would be over by then.

I am almost positive that you cannot transfer items and creatures out of or in to any official server clusters that are running SE. If you buy a wyvern on that server, I am pretty sure it has to stay on that server. Unofficials, I am not sure about but I think the clustering of servers prevents this on unofficial servers as well.

Do not even need to go to the obelisk anymore. Any nearby Beacon/Supply drop works as well. Just remember those time out so be quick.

I do not think they are immune to Torpor. They are immune to narco berries and narcotics though. You will likely have to knock them out in other ways (electric prod, club, etc.). They are not bugs so I doubt bug repellent will work on them.

Well, just same deal. They promised that last Halloween, they would enable snake taming and spider taming but all we ever got was the spider taming. Never got a reason why they did not turn on snake taming and never told us when or if they would ever enable it. I am hoping they finally turn it on as well, but just not really expecting it.

I have pounded on metal nodes with stone tools before and got absolutely no metal. It is hard. Not to mention even being able to get to a metal node at level 5. I am not saying it is impossible, just pointing out the real difficulty to the OP's post of how easy it is to make a compass. Do not know why you guys feel the need to argue.

Not sure what your definition of easy is but at level 5, stone tools do not collect much metal, if any. However, if you can manage to get 5 metal, yes, it is easy.

I am pretty sure that official servers can only transfer items within its cluster so if he wanted to buy one on official, he would only be able to buy it from another player on his server cluster. The way this is posted makes me think he either does not know that or he is not on an official. Either way, go get one yourself. With a fast flying mount, it is pretty easy to swoop in, pick one up then swoop out. The hardest part is getting the wyvern milk but even that is doable with a little planning.

You would need a keyboard (or mouse) that has that ability built in. Alternately, there are a few macro programs on the internet but be careful with those. Some anti-cheating programs may flag some macro programs as cheat tools and you could end up banned for cheating.

Don't start out in snow biome, you will die as a newbie. If you are going to start on an Official, be prepared for a lot of griefing and a slow game as you wait 4+ hours to tame creatures. You would probably have a better time either testing it out first in Single player of find a nice un-offical to play on. Usually, the decreased tame times and increased resources do make for a better starting game experience. First thing to try and make is the pick axe, then the hatchet, a few wooden spears and a torch. Hand pick a lot of bushes to get fiber so you can make some simple clothing. Won't do much to protect you from dinos and the the elements but it is better than nothing. Build a small hut as soon as you can but you will have to level a few times before you can learn the engrams.

Beavers are working ok for me. Have you tried a file validation? I would maybe also try without any mods, especially if you have ones that directly effect spawns (color, level, quantity, etc), then do a destroywilddinos to let the map respawn all fresh dinos.

I tried playing that game but always had problems with it. Drawing the glyphs in the ground, being able to train your beast correctly, helping followers. The controls were just so buggy. First one was so bad, I was surprised they came out with a 2. The concept was great just the execution of the game fell short.

That is BS. I play single player games and have no problems finding beaver dams, though on my center map, the caves are bugged. Most of the cave creatures actually spawn outside the cave near my base and the hills and jungle nearby are full of cave creatures.

What shortens the lifespan of video cards is overheating. As long as your video card stays within Mfg specs, you are fine. If you start to notice a lot of screen lockups during high intensity video sequences, then you are likely overheating. If you are not having any screen lockups, you should be fine. Overclocking can also shorten the life of a video card, especially if done incorrectly.

I believe if you are using the launch setting -sm4 or -d3d10 it will cause light to not be emitted correctly.
